Even before becoming a travel agent with Travel Leaders Travel Now in their New Richmond office, Tara had been coordinating group travel and events for years. Bringing people together with a wide range of ages and interests is a specialty of Tara’s. She is great at coming up with destinations and activities to satisfy everyone in the group. Whether you are a party of 2 or party of 52, finding your next adventure is her passion. With past experience in hospitality and also as a promotions coordinator, her transition to travel agent was a perfect fit. Tara is also a huge sports fan and sits on the Season Ticket Holder Board of Advisors for the Minnesota Wild. She is active in her community and volunteers with fund raising for the local police department’s K9 unit and is a member in the local Lion's Club. She makes being busy look easy with her high organizational skills and attention to detail, which will put the perfect touch on your next get away.

Weekend Away in NOLA

I contacted Tara to find a hotel in New Orleans for a weekend with my husband after a work conference. Tara asked all the right questions regarding our plans for the weekend and found us an older, beautiful hotel in the perfect location. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go, and were pleasantly surprised to find a historical rotating carousel bar right in our hotel. I was busy preparing for the conference in the weeks prior and didn't have time to research things to do or good places to stay- Tara took care of of the details for me which was a huge relief. She never fails to take care of us!

Tara was an absolute rock star through the whole planning of my destination wedding. She navigated through all the extensive details need to get married in the Dominican Republic: from communication with the wedding planner at the resort- to providing the information needed for the paperwork required for the actual ceremony. If she didn't have the answers to yy questions, she spent the extra time to find them for me. I cannot believe how far above and beyond she went to make sure my wedding went off beautifully!! I would recommend her services to anyone planning a vacation, destination wedding, or trip of a lifetime!!!! She was my Wonder Woman!! We started using Tara for our vacation travels and we haven't been happier with a travel agent. She helps us find the lowest rates and lines up transportation and excursions. She also has great resort suggestions.One perk to working with an agent (Tara) vs online vendors is that she can request modification to your stay. For example, we asked Tara to request for us to be in a standard suite as close to the beach as possible on the second floor. Sure enough, we were as close to the beach as we could get (without upgrading) and on the second floor... and with a bottle of champagne lined up for us mind you! You just can't make those requests online.?? I'm a repeat client of hers and have confidently referred her to others and will continue to do so.

Tara worked to ensure my short notice trip, with special request to make pick up and drop off convenient for others to do possible. Then to top it off about 6 hours later I suddenly had to add a hotel with shuttle to the airport for one of the nights, the location she found was conveniently located near campus, walking distance to many food establishments, a wonderful "adult watering hole" and a billiard Hall where we were able to rent a table for $8.50 per hour, I will definitely book again with Tara

I've taken 3 trips that Tara has planned. Everyone of them have been great! She keeps us updated with emails and notifications about the trip and other minor details. I got sick on 2 out of 3 trips, hard to say if she had anything to do with that but other than that she's great!

Tara was so helpful and answered every one of my million questions! Not only was this my first time going to Vegas but it was also my first time planning a trip and flying by myself! She made everything so easy for me and gave me many recommendations for things to do! I also had to make some last minute changes and she was very accommodating and worked out the kinks for me! When i was stuck between a couple hotels she gave me the pros and cons to both and personal experience at each one! It made my decisions so much easier! Wedding Tag-a-longs

Our trip was scheduled almost a year in advance. Even though it was a long time Tara always kept us updated with all important information. She gave us plenty of time so there was never any rush to get anything done. I think our situation was unique but the value was exceptional!In my opinion Harvest Caye would be the "must see" destination. We were unfortunate and visited on a day with poor weather but it was perfect. Maybe a little touristy but it had everything I love. A swim-up bar in a huge pool, gigantic beach with super nice sand and plenty of places to relax in the sun. Plus it was one of the longest days trips.
Roatan was interesting but we just walked around the town with one of the locals. He was very informative but I didn't really need to go there without seeing a beach.
We stayed in the Marriott 555 and yes I would recommend it. Beautiful room and super nice bar with great access to Bourbon street.

Surprise Trip to Disney!

Tara made planning this surprise trip for my husband and absolutely dream! Since we own our own business, I don't have time to search websites and find hotel, airfare etc. Plus, it's been over 10 years since we've been to Disneyworld and so much has changed. Tara recommended we stay at The Dolfin, which was within walking distance from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. By staying at one of the Disney hotels, we were able to have anything we purchased at the parks delivered to our hotel so we didn't have to carry around stuff all day. I will only use a travel agent for all my travel needs! I am so glad I can count on Tara to take the stress out of planning so I can just sit back and enjoy the experience!

Couples 40th birthday trip

Tara was great to work with, first time using a travel agent and I cant complain. Worked especially well that I was able to do 90% of it over email. When you work in the cities that was key to getting things handled. Also having someone who has been to the actual resort we stayed at was great, as she knew we were going to be going to a top notch resort. Her knowledge of destinations/locations off the top of her head to get us going in the right direction was amazing, being that we had no idea WHERE we wanted to go. Best first cruise ever

Let me start by, Tara saying she wants this to be the first best cruise for you ever. I have always planned and booked all my trips, so this was something new for me. Well I was in good hands, heading to the ABC island + St Lucia and St Kitts. Norwegian made some changes and screwed a couple things up and we were now traveling separate from our friends and with a layover. Tara was all over it keeping us updated. She was able to make a miracle happen we flew with our friends and the entire trip was smooth sailing no pun intended. Her wish or goal came true and we had the best first cruise ever. As soon as we got home we were on you tube figuring out our next cruise. Tara your phone will be ringing soon.

Tara found me the best rate for my trip to see friends and family in Florida! She found me the best deal ever on a non-stop round trip with a rental car. Tara worked hard finding me the flights even when I was back and forth with the dates I needed and the location I wanted to fly into. She was available by phone whenever I needed her. This was our first trip out of the US and also our first vacation in over 10 years. Tara provided us with quite a few options based on our wants/needs for the trip. She was also very knowledgeable about many different destinations and eased our minds in regards to transportation etc..upon arrival. Tara was very friendly and honest!! This review may be unfair due to talking to several agents and then Tara had to pick up the pieces. It took a while to get everything coordinated and to gather all my conversations with other agents to get the end product. In the end Tara did deliver a wonderful vacation for myself and my daughter!
