During the past 14 years, I have helped more than 1,000 travelers explore this great, big, beautiful world. In the process, I have accumulated a vast amount of first-hand experience on some of the most fascinating places in the world. One of the most important things I learned during this period was how to get a traveler the most travel bang for their buck. It is important for me to find interesting and fulfilling excursions, activities and tours that will give clients the best travel experience all while staying in excellent hotels in the best locations.
Besides staying busy booking travel for clients, I also travel as much as possible. I have family members who live in Austria, so I try to head to Vienna as much as possible. Besides many places in Europe, other destinations I have traveled to include but are not limited to:
- Honduras
- Japan
- China
- South Korea
- Russia
One of the "bonuses" of my frequent travels are the personal connections I have developed over the years with hotels and guides in some of the major cities. Because of these connections, I'm often able to give my clients a more personalized experience as they explore their dream destination.
During my travels, I have discovered many unique tours and excursions that I enjoy sharing with my clients. That means you can expect the unexpected from me. For example, while those packaged itineraries you find on the Internet will only include a standard "city tour," I'll help you find that excursion with a twist. In Japan, it might be the Ghost Tour of Kyoto. Or if you're heading to Austria, I might suggest the "Dark Secrets of Vienna." If you are an art lover, like me, I can give you suggestions on exceptional museums, since I have visited many of the great ones during my journeys to Europe.
I also have a special passion for river cruises, especially in Europe but also in the US and Asia. I would love to sit down and visit with you about this unique experience. It is a great way to see some unique destinations up close and you only have to unpack once.

Best Cruise to start our retirement!

Mendy came up with an excellent alternative cruise destination to Alaska after our original Western Caribbean cruise out of Galveston cruise was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Alaskan cruise turned out to be a better way to start our retirement! In addition, Mendy has been wonderful to work with in setting up additional cruises for the upcoming year . She has been great at listening to our traveling interests AND provided excellent suggestions for other cruises to consider. In addition she has also provided useful information for other traveling experiences and even given us 'heads up' regarding up-to-date COVID-19 requirements to the places we plan to travel to. She is thorough and provides "full service" traveling advice and support!

Mendy has assisted us in two major trips. We really appreciated her knowledge of the best tour guides for the local areas we visited. We had tours that were memorable due to the quality of the tour company in both Las Vegas (Grand Canyon) and Panama City, Panama.She was very flexible in suggesting activities and than shaping the activities to fit our needs. The variety of activities allows us to look at the potential activities and than select what is best for us and our unique needes.

Mendy was fabulous to work with. My experience traveling out of the country is limited and she took so much of the stress off of me during the planning process. Booking our hotel, flights, museum passes, and travel arrangements saved me HOURS of time and she created a plan that was tailored to our likes and travel style. Mendy was great to work with. Although I'm an experienced traveler, I needed help building a multi-country trip over a fairly short timeframe for a family vacation. I gave Mendy my basic travel itinerary and she suggested places to visit that I hadn't thought of or didn't know about and I was able to make changes and fine-tune the trip based on her advice. My main two requests for Mendy was to help select multi-city flights for a family of four, then book our hotels and guest houses to fit the mainland Europe part of the trip. She ran all her selections past me first and I was able to confirm them or ask for alternate options, which she found. We ended being happy with all hotel/guesthouse locations, the flights met our needs and the trip was a big success. Throughout the planning and booking process Mendy provided the level of support I needed in pulling this complex trip off.

Mendy was so helpful. We were concerned about traveling so far away and not getting a real Italian experience but Mendy took care of everything. The cities we visited, the anthemic hotels we stayed at, the “have to see” attractions, and information to prepare for trip were all spot on. She ensured this once in a life time trip was perfect. We conquered Florence, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast and didn’t miss a thing…thanks to Mendy. Even our travel by plane, train, and car were all taken care of by Mendy. I could not imagine taking this trip without her guidance. When we visit overseas again, I already know who to call!!!!

Mendy was great to work with and very patient with me. Our trip to Greece was actually supposed to be a trip last December to Miami Beach for my birthday. My daughter got Covid and so we had to cancel and ended up with a credit which we utilized to go to Greece instead. Mendy worked hard to transfer our credits and arrange a fabulous itinerary. Then, a month before we were scheduled to go, I got spooked by the US putting Greece on the do not travel list because of the delta variant. Mendy spent a lot of time checking for me to see about refunds, credits, etc. and then we decided to go anyway and I am soooo glad we did. The only hotel we didn't love was the one hotel that I picked out! So we called her from Greece and she worked on helping us switch hotels, which we didn't end up doing anyway. I guess you could say I was a high maintenance traveler but she went above and beyond to make our trip the best vacation I've ever had.

Mendy's suggestion that my husband and I take a Viking cruise was just the start of a wonderful trip experience. She provided specific information, such as having a trip medical insurance policy to including 2 days in Amerstam before our cruise began so that we could recover from jet lag. During the months of trip planning, Mendy made airline arrangements, getting us the best seats available, taking into consideration our needs, and minimizing layovers in our flight plan. She made us her priority! Mendy contacted us with any flight updates as well as was excited for us as we approached the start of our trip. My husband and I really appreciate that Mendy listens to what we want to experience in a trip and then goes to work to provide that experience. She is very professional in her attention to detail in every aspect of planning and taking a trip. I trust Mendy to take care of ALL my travel needs.
