I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and when I was 16 years old I decided to move to the United Stated in order to attain a better education. As I was always passionate about helping the tourism industry back in my country, I decided to major in Hospitality Management at East Carolina University where I obtained my bachelor's degree. After graduation from college I moved to New Orleans and worked in the hospitality industry for a while but later decided that it was time to head back home where I could apply my strong knowledge in the growing tourism industry that the country was exhibiting.

My journey in golf started as the Golf Groups Coordinator of Puntacana Resort & Club, where I handle the logistics and operations of many golf tournaments and golf groups from all over the world. During my time in Puntacana Resort, I also helped to develop a golf program by directing meetings with the hotel management and the golf courses where partnership agreements were implemented. Three years later I was hired as the Sales & Marketing manager of a world renown DMC where I traveled and promoted the Dominican Republic as the best golf destination in the Caribbean. 

After years of working in the golf / tourism industry, I decided to follow many of my client's advise and created The Golf Republic, a golf travel agency that offers its customers the finest accommodations with the best service at affordable prices. These days The Golf Republic is positioning itself as the number one golf travel adviser of the island and is focusing in expanding its business internationally.
