I’ve always loved planning and going on vacations, and I’ve been traveling non-stop since I was born! My father was a hotel manager while I was growing up, and we’d often move to new cities and live in the hotel he was managing. By 10th grade, I had attended 13 different schools across the country! My first job in high school was at a hotel, and I loved accommodating people during their vacation in any way I could.
I specialize in everything Disney along with other major parks like Universal. I plan dream vacations for families, couples, and groups of all ages. I’ve been on numerous Disney adventures with my own family, and I know how to get the most out of their parks, cruises, and resorts in any season.
One of the reasons I love Disney vacations so much is because they allow everyone to feel like a kid again. I’ve booked luxury Disney cruises for adults wishing to celebrate special occasions, and I’ve helped families with small kids enjoy their first trip to Disney World without any stress. As a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge, I can provide a unique insight into their parks so you have time to enjoy yourself without ever feeling overwhelmed.

Maureen planned an incredible vacation for our family. Our group was large (22 people) with a big age range (1 year-70 years), but that didn’t phase Maureen! Not only did Maureen recommend and book fantastic accommodations at Aulani for us, but she also arranged dinners, airport transfers, and more! Everyone in our group loved the vacation and I (as the usual family organizer) loved knowing that someone else was taking care of all the details.
Maureen responded quickly to all communication and helped make this an incredible trip! She even gave suggestions for sightseeing and things to do outside the resort.

First time to the West Coast Parks

Maureen replied to my emails promptly even when I emailed late at night. Her help in constantly contacting Disney to book some dining reservations for me was a relief for me. I would have given up long before she did. She was as excited for my adventures as I was. The paperwork she provided had everything I needed to navigate LAX and check in to my hotel. I had no hiccups or problems.

Maureen has helped us plan quite a few vacations and we are always very impressed with her expertise and knowledge. I can't imagine booking a trip without her! Maurreen, did an excellent job booking our family Vacation. She helped me book resort park tickets and dinner reservations. Answered all the questions I had and gave me very useful tips. Disney can be a little tricky and she made it so easy. She checked in with us day off check in at resort. She also sent us a goody basket to our resort my kids where so excited. An exhaustingly perfect vacation

Working with Maureen was a breeze! We had certain "must haves" for our trip and other things that weren't a big deal. Maureen made it all happen. She was great at sending reminders and suggestions before the trip to make sure we didn't forget or miss out on anything. Maureen is very knowledgeable about the parks, how Genie+ works and all the other ins and outs that you may not think of. Genie+ was crucial for our family to not have to wait in some long lines and Memory Maker is worth it!! It had been 11 years since our last Disney World vacation and a lot has changed since then. Maureen answered all my questions and added a great personal touch of customer service to booking our trip.

30th anniversary cruise

Maureen is an exceptional travel advisor! We had some issues with our initial reservation and she advocated for us and made sure the provider knew they were at fault. Kids first trip to Disney

Maureen made everything about this trip possible and seamless.I had to change the dates of the trip due to an injury, then modify the trip again due to medical issues and we even ended up changing the resort we stayed at.
Maureen was so wonderful through it all. Never got tired of my questions or any of the changes we had to make.
The scooter I rented she had delivered and waiting on me when we got there.
I couldn’t ask for anything more from her.

With the help of Maureen, our trip to Walt Disney World was fun, relaxing, great family time, and stress free! She helped plan out everything for us from transportation, what resort to stay at, which fast passes to book, to a detailed schedule at each park of which attractions to visit to ensure that we were able to do everything we wanted to do. She made sure to give us helpful suggestions and tips along the way and even checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was well. I have used other travel agents and Maureen is at the top of my list. She is thorough, organized (to every last detail), friendly, responsive (this was so important to me, I never had to follow up on any email I sent to her), and goes above and beyond to add special details along the way to make your trip memorable. We booked our spring break Disney World package with Maureen and I’m so glad we did! She made sure we had all of the details perfectly planned, all the way down to what stroller to rent and what clothes to pack. She even booked the stroller rental for us! She helped us manage all the little problems that came up during our trip, so we never had to do anything but enjoy all of the Disney magic. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak, but Maureen took care of EVERYTHING! She got our lost hotel and park ticket days refunded due to the extraordinary circumstances. I would have had to spend hours on the phone doing that, but she took care of it all. I will book with Maureen every chance I get. You just don’t find this kind of personalized customer service anywhere else.

Planning Relief!

Maureen was very excited to help us plan our trip to Vancouver. We had never been there and as we are not natural "planners," felt stuck in not knowing where to stay or what to do. Maureen and her family had just been to Vancouver and scouted out a hotel for us. It was perfect! The old Sylvia hotel, by the English Bay and Stanley Park was charming with a beautiful view. Maureen gave us so many ideas of things to do while we were there that we felt like we were hitting the highlights in our short stay. She also booked the train for us to Seattle and then on to Portland. We loved sitting back, relaxing and traveling that way.Maureen is a gifted, flexible planner and exudes joy in helping others to experience the best vacation ever!

The 3 Amigos Family Vacation

Sometimes planning a family vacation can be stressful & discouraging when you do it on your own. I say this out of experience. Last year it was different! My family and I placed our full trust in "Dreams By Design Travel with Maureen" and we could not have been any happier. From day one of our inquiry to Maureen about our vacation she was very resourceful, polite and made sure that our vacation became a dream come true. Working with her for our vacation simplified everything from the hotel booking, tickets to Disney parks, magic bands and our breakfast reservation with our favorite character Stitch at Ohana. Maureen checked on us from the moment we were taking off from Austin, TX until we arrived to our Hotel and assisted us throughout our visit to Disney World and even when we were heading back home. It felt like a family member making sure we were ok at all times. Our experience was amazing, so amazing that now my fiancée and I are working with Maureen for our Honey Moon Trip.

Best Disney Trip Ever!

Maureen was the absolutely best! She took all the guess work out and made planning our first Disney family vacation a breeze. All we literally had to do was show up, everything was taken care of from dinner reservations, Fast Pass Selections, Character Dining, etc. She created day to day itineraries based on wait times, places to eat. We booked the trip early, along the way, she informed when when we could make certain reservations, made suggestions about stroller rentals. She knew she would be on a cruise during our planned trip so she arranged to have a colleague to be available in the event that we needed anything during our stay. That takes customer service to a whole another level. Our trip was literally magical, my daughter keeps telling people, '"it was the best birthday trip ever" All her suggestions and tips were en pointe! I have been to Disney so many times in my lifetime but this one was truly the easiest and most well planned. We can't wait til our next vacation.

Maureen is an amazing travel agent! She worked magic getting a Disney trip reserved for 11 people (ages 4-69). Three families with three different goals, from three different cities. It was not an easy arrangement, but she handled it with grace and kindness. While Disney cancelled our trip, we will use Maureen again for another trip. You should too!! She knows Disney inside and out; and has been to Disney more times than I can imagine.

Maureen helped us book two Disney Cruises for our family. We took one this past Christmas and we're scheduled to take one next Christmas. She made recommendations on excursions and helped us get the early dining when we were originally scheduled for the late seating.

Family Beach Vacation to Remember

Working with Maureen Havrilla of Dreams by Design Travel was a great experience! Maureen helped plan our family beach vacation in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida and the rental home she secured for us was just what we wanted!Maureen was organized and extremely responsive throughout the booking process and again as the vacation approached. Maureen even went the extra mile in providing a cute travel kit for the family which contained helpful information about the area and travel items. Maureen also followed up after our trip to make sure all went well. I will be reaching out to Maureen again for help with future travel plans. As a working mom, it is great to have someone to help search out the details, answer questions and ensure is taken care of and ready. I would highly recommend Maureen to anyone for help in planning a vacation to remember!
