I have been traveling the world since the 5th grade. My family fell in love with cruising right around the time when the “Love Boat” television show was at its peak. I have seen many places and visited some incredible countries, and I was hooked early on. After college, I went into the travel industry and have never looked back!

I live in Boulder, Colorado, but have lived in various resort areas including California, Hawaii, and Ski Country, Colorado. I have seen and experienced many great countries, fabulous people, and the evolution of travel over the years, only to be even more impressed of what is out there today. My first RCL cruise ship, Nordic Prince, had only 700 passengers, and today the newest RCL ship has over 6,500 passengers! I love helping others witness how much the travel industry changes! 

In addition to my 50 years of traveling, I have also worked in the hospitality industry for over 35 years. Having that type of experience, I know what clients are looking for. Not only do I help save them money, but also set reasonable expectations of their vacation, and what will and what won’t work. My personality is truly devoted to guest services. Whether it’s helping serve others in philanthropic tasks, or ensuring guests are getting the best value for their dollar, I serve my clients like they’re family.

My tag line on my business cards is “Extraordinary Vacations in Extraordinary Locations” which is truly what I want my clients to have, always. I enjoy working with all kinds of travelers, including adventurers, cruisers, high end luxury travelers, solo travelers, and senior travelers.

There are two areas that I especially love to book: ski areas and cruising. I love skiing and have a lot of expertise in Vail and Beaver Creek in particular. I know the hotels and resorts inside and out, and I even know the best restaurants and attractions that are worth visiting. I offer many services to clients traveling here including arranging private car services, hiring private chefs, and getting the best prices on ski tickets. I have my clients covered from head, to boot, to ski tip, when it comes to skiing in the Rocky Mountains. 

When it comes to cruising, I have traveled on large luxury cruise ships, to the Windstar sailing yachts, to the smaller passenger liners with Viking and River Cruising in Europe. I have my favorites, but each one is unique and appeals to many different clients. Since I have been on so many, I can make suggestions based on my client’s best interests. From my hotel experience, I can take care of my clients throughout their entire journey, from their flights, hotels, cruises, and cars, to their dining and any other packages they need. I love to see what we can think of together to make it a memorable experience for them and their family. 

One example of an amazing trip I booked for a client was a ski trip in Vail. My client was from the Philippines and she was bringing her entire family on the trip including house staff (housekeepers, drivers, nannies and cooks). Not only did I have to book an exquisite home for the family, I had to provide lodging for the staff, arrange the groceries for the cook, rent two cars for the drivers, and find activities for the nannies to do with the children. It was an all-encompassing trip, and everyone had a wonderful time.

On the cruising side, I had booked an extraordinary trip for a couple to cruise the British Isles on a two-week trip, to see their native homeland. Then COVID hit. Their original trip got canceled, but they still wanted to see Europe and Ireland, so we booked a mix of land and cruise tour of Norway and Ireland. They were comfortable to go on a smaller ship and cruise coast of Norway, then travel down to Ireland and Scotland to do a motor coach tour of those destinations. Unfortunately, they got sick and couldn’t go on the trip yet, but we did not give up! I went back to my roots and wanted to get them on a cruise again. I decided the Viking British Isles itinerary with stops in Norway was a perfect compromise for all they wanted to see. They recently returned home, and absolutely loved it. It was nearly 4 years in the making, but I did not give up on them, and they had a great trip!

When I’m not working, I love to be with my wife and children. We are outdoors people, and love to hike, ski, golf, bike and just be outdoors. Being from Colorado, it does get cold, so a good card game at home with the kids is just as fun. We have great hobbies we all do as a family, and they are my world.
