Experience is very important when it comes to booking getaways and destination weddings. And I have more than 37 years in the travel industry. I started working as a receptionist at the travel agency before I graduated high school, moved into reservations, and am now the office team leader for our boutique agency. Over those years, I have successfully booked many getaways, including the most difficult and challenging ones, such as destination weddings and large group travel.

My experience allows me to thrive on challenges -- such as the 55-day Australia FIT (fully independent travel) itinerary I crafted for one client. It also means that if you should encounter a situation while on your vacation -- such as a missed connecting flight -- I will have the expertise necessary to get your journey back on track. More than likely I have had to deal with an issue similar to yours in the past, so I can now apply that knowledge to successfully solving your problem.

I am also known for providing excellent customer service and for being very detail-oriented. You can be assured that when you book with me, all aspects of your trip will be covered. I also understand the importance of communication, so I will also keep you informed as progress is made on your itinerary and bookings.

I am very proud to say that most of the people I book vacations for today are either repeat clients or referrals. And because a good travel agent always works hard to get to know their clients, their personalities and likes and dislikes, I have also become friends with many of my customers over the years.

Of course, I still love booking trips for new clients, as well. In addition to my years of experience, I also stay well-informed with what is going on in the industry. I am a graduate as a Certified Travel Counselor, the Travel Institute's Luxury Travel, and Destination Weddings. I have also traveled extensively, myself. Some of my favorite journeys have been:

Best trip ever!

Working with Diane to plan our 25th anniversary trip was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We weren’t sure what we wanted out of this trip and her expertise helped us hone in on which islands we wanted to visit and which excursions we wanted to try. Diane’s travel experience really helped us in choosing our own activities, her recommendations were spot on.

We were gone for a full two weeks and were not ready to come home when it was over! The trip was amazing and we look forward to planning another big getaway in the future. Diane was there to answer any questions we had and put a lot of effort into making our trip amazing and seamless.

My goal was to go to all 50 states by the age of 50, and I made it! I saved the best for last - Hawaii. My husband and I wanted to go to on a cruise, so we could explore all 4 of the popular islands. We had never been on a cruise, so I contacted Diane for help in the planning. Her initial response was fast and continued that way throughout the whole planning process. I had many questions for her, and she was always quick to respond. She helped us find a helicopter tour in Kauai that was the highlight of the trip as well as a tour of Pearl Harbor that were separate excursions from the cruise. I appreciated her knowledge and expertise in planning the trip of a lifetime!

Diane was wonderful to work with. She is extremely thorough and has a wealth of knowledge regarding all the places we inquired about. She made adjustments to our trip to accommodate all of our requests and was always available to answer our questions (including Christmas Eve right before we left). She checked in with us as she kept an eye on our flights; which was comforting to us since it was our first international trip. We look forward to booking more trips and using Diane as our travel agent.

Romantic Maui Vow Renewal Trip

Diane has booked several trips for us over the years- both domestic and international trips. She is very knowledgeable and takes care of ALL the details. She keeps track of all the timelines and made sure we were aware of them. She also gave us helpful suggestions on how to travel more efficiently and get through the airport lines more quickly. Earlier this year she arranged a trip to Maui for 7 of us. Not only did she arrange all the transportation details and found us 2 beautiful condos in Kihei (that we would absolutely go back to again), but she also found us a terrific wedding planner on Maui that planned a lovely vow renewal ceremony on the beach at sunset. Every detail was covered, and we had a fabulous trip. I would definitely use Diane for all our travel needs - in fact we're working with her on another trip right now.

Diane was very knowledgeable about Australia so I felt confident in the plans she helped us with. Diane answered all of our questions in the months leading up to the trip. She was invaluable on our day of travel when bad weather required us to travel via different cities. Our goal was to make our long 16 hour flight and we did! Diane provided alternate flight numbers out of different cities. This was so helpful when trying to find help in the airport. Diane has planned several trips with me over the years and has always been amazing! My best friend and I decided we wanted to go on a European trip to celebrate college graduation. I told Diane the idea of where we wanted to go, and price range around 8 months in advance. We corresponded back and forth and watched flight trends for pricing. We booked the flights, hotels, tickets for cathedrals and train travel in advance. Our destinations were barcelona, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Capri. Diane made what would’ve been a very difficult trip to plan a breeze. She was available to answer any questions we had, and knowledgeable about the locations. My best friend and I had the time of our lives, and we owe it all to her!

Covid Vacation

Diane was wonderful to work with, especially given our trip was originally planned for France. She had given us so much good advice from her experience in France and booked our dream trip. Then Covid 19 hit. She helped us postpone it once but then we had to make new plans or delay it for a year. After all the anticipation we wanted a vacation. So Diane helped us book Hawaii, until they extended their visitor quarantine. She then came up with St Lucia knowing we prefer warm weather and beaches but safety was a top priority. We had to test negative for Covid before we could depart but also register as a guest and bring our acceptance letters. Diane had contacts through the tourism industry and was able to expedite our approval letters. While excursions and shops were closed due to the virus we had a wonderful experience at the resort. The people were friendly, the food was delicious & the weather was perfect. Diane was sure to follow up with us after to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

Multi Trip Planning Advice

This travel agent is amazing. I consider myself a pretty good researcher and still after tracking down the very best deals I can find, Superior can usually beat them. If they can't beat them, they at least match them and then I have an experienced team on my side if something should go wrong. We have booked numerous family trips as well as romantic excursions for two using Superior. I couldn't believe how much they saved us on a week at Disney! We always get great advice, help with any documents, reminders etc. Our specific experiences are with Diane, and she is just so helpful and informative. She's made calls on her day off for us just because she knew rates were changing! Travelling with Superior gives us great peace of mine when we are vacationing out of the country because we know we can make just one phone call and they will take care of the rest. We will only use Superior for all of our travel needs.

All Inclusive Success

Outstanding service. I'd never go through the hassle of setting up a trip when Diane makes it as simple and flawless as she does. As an example our last 2 vacations to the Bahamas were met with weather issues on the days of our return. When I contacted Diane to let her know, she was already aware of the potential for our flights to get canceled and had taken care of the situation by re-routing us to get around the weather and still get home on the same day as we had planned. Outstanding!!!
