Complicated trip, creative solutions

I wanted to plan a surprise trip for my wife, no easy task since it's impossible to "hide" expenditures from my spouse. Our destination was Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, Georgia. Because certain elements of the trip required prepayment, it was sometimes tricky to figure out how to make commitments without exposing the plot to my wife. Maggie always found solutions. She was prompt, kind, and detail-oriented, exactly what you want in a travel agent. I would and have recommended her to friends, and would definitely work with Maggie and with Travel Leaders again.

As we began to plan our travels, we quickly became overwhelmed,anxious,stressed and frightened.Maggie,listens,asks questions and promptly creates a menu of suggestions from which we can choose..She has helped us enjoy France, the Iberian Peninsula and Jamaica. Soon, we shall be traveling to China and Tibet.

Planning our trip with Maggie was a great experience. We only had 7 days to visit London and Maggie mapped out the perfect plan for us. We were able to see all of the highlights and still have time to shop and dine. Each tour was even better than we had expected. Maggie had scheduled us at the perfect times to to take the tours and we we able to take it all in. We next planned an Alaska Cruise with which was unfortunately cancelled due to my own health issues as well as the coronavirus. She was very helpful in getting that cancelled. I needed to co-ordinate a trip that included family members from Florida and South Dakota and myself to all arrive as close as possible to the same destination. And I needed a hotel for us and a car rental. Maggie demonstrated the ability to put this together and I was really impressed. Unfortunately, we needed to cancel the trip due to the Covid-19 virus, and Maggie handled all the cancellation details as well. She is my go to person for future trips. Thanks Maggie!

Fabulous Alaskan vacation

We had an idea of what we wanted to see. Maggie was able to find the perfect tour to meet our plans. She created a seamless 3 part vacation, taking care of every detail to ensure we had a trouble free trip.

Maggie is a wonderful resource. She follows up with finding out what the needs are that we have, and how she can best fulfill them.It doesn't matter if it's an individual travel experience, or a group, Maggie worked with us to ensure that every member of our large party was handled with the same amount of first class care.
Even when we had a flaw in our travel arrangements on an out of country trip, when we returned, she worked with the associated services and got our refunds to offset our costs.

Maggie has been such a positive part of our vacation experiences. She has worked diligently to answer questions we might have regarding our vacations or to take care of problems when they arise. I can't imagine planning a cruise or a more complex trip without her in our corner. She has saved us countless hours, dollars and headaches when things go awry. Our latest trip involved taking our children on a Mediterranean cruise. We had to rebook, change itineraries, rebook flights plus we had to deal with the ever changing rules regarding Covid. Maggie helped us through all of this and was so good with working with the other members of my family when they had questions. After our trip we had an issue with the cruise line and rather than having to wait many hours on hold and not even be sure I could handle it on my own, Maggie took over and quickly resolved the issue.

A memorable bucket list dream trip completed!!!!

Working with Maggie has been wonderful! Not only does she have a wonderful personality, she most definitely works hard to arrange a trip that will be memorable. The last trip she arranged for four of us was booked in 2018 for travel in 2021. Things did not go as planned of course, so Maggie worked double hard to rebook all that was needed to be for 2022. Our trip was cancelled again because we of high Covid numbers continuing in the arrival country. So, third times the charm for 2023? This time additional steps were needed to be completed-travel insurance is only good for 700+ days so our policy had lapsed from 2018 and needed reworking. Extra questions brought up by any of us were graciously handled by Maggie. She was a lifesaver. I would not have wanted to do all of this work by myself.

Anniversary Trip

Maggie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Originally we booked a Hawaii tour but it was cancelled due to Covid restrictions. She cancelled it all for us and then when we decided to go to Jamaica instead she did everything for us. She made great suggestions based on her knowledge of Jamaica, such as using Club Mobay and getting a private transfer. She gladly answered any questions I had along the way and believe me I had a lot of questions! I will definitely go back to Maggie for any future travel plans!

Vacation planning was a breeze with Maggie K.!! I "attempted" to plan a short visit to Las Vegas by myself. After 2+ hours I gave up and called Maggie. Within 45 minutes she had planned the entire vacation over the phone and via email. She was efficient, prompt, easy to work with, and always specifically listened and took notes regarding EXACTLY what we wanted in regards to all of our travel wants/needs. We used her once prior to this trip (Mexico-top notch recommendation to the very best resort that met ALL our families needs). We are now in the process of planning a tropical vacation with her for 2022. Never again will we attempt to plan a trip without her!!!

Maggie is always patient, we usually have 2 or 3 places that we want to go and she always gets us the information on all of them. Then she sends us home with everything and we need. Maggie also tells us if she has been there or knows someone that has been, to make our decision better. We have followed Maggie from her last place. We have had family members also use her and they have been very happy also!

Awesome experience

My son and I had never been out of North America. We planned a trip to Costa Rica and was going to meet up with a friend that lived there. Within days of our arrival, our friend had an unexpected emergency outside of Costa Rica and was unable to meet with us.
I reached out to Ms. Knuteson and she put together a vacation package that knocked our socks off.
The hotel, was magnificent, the food fantastic and seemed to be never ending.
We toured the Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, rainforest via tram, hiked ran the zip lines, snorkeled off the Isle of Tortuga and sun bathed on a catamoran
This experience was wonderful, and was all because of the knowledge, expertise and caring of Ms. Knuteson.
We would highly recommend Ms. Knuteson for all of your travel needs.

She is very responsive to our requests, makes herself available at all times and goes out of her way to offer the best and most cost effective activities and alternatives to our itinerary to make our entire travel experience the very best possible. Avalon European River Cruise
The trip was fabulous! They are so organized with everything. We did all the city tours that were offered and the one extra tour in Amsterdam. All of the tour guides really knew their stuff. The tours were informative and you learned a lot. After the city tours they gave you free time to do what you wanted. When you left on a tour they had water for you and when you returned to the boat they had juice and a wash cloth for you. You never felt rushed or overwhelmed. They offered a tasting menu for dinner and a grill lunch where you had to sign up because seating was limited. The food was very good but it was more Americanized. Every single person on the boat was very, very nice. Happy hour every day where drinks were only $4. The crew put on a show one night and it was hilarious! I can't say one thing bad about it but if I had to pick one thing it would be to have bigger glasses in the lounge for ice tea. We would take another cruise and would highly recommend it.

Anniversary Trip at The El Dorado Royale Mexico
Hi Maggie, It was a wonderful trip. Everything worked out perfectly! We stayed on property the whole time, just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather. They are building what will be the “world’s largest” man-made coral reef so they have blocks that are in the process of sinking into the ocean to form the foundation. It hindered the ocean view and will for about six months, but the end result will be a wonderful addition to the property. They have new restaurants that have opened, the Santa Fe Restaurant was our favorite! Thank you for helping us get this planned so quickly, Maggie! We will be contacting you again for our future trips!
