Making extraordinary travel experiences ordinary
From my personal travel experience and education, I can give customers an idea of what they can expect on specific travel. From figuring out the Metro system in Paris, to understanding how hot an actual summer in Australia really is, can help give customers the confidence that makes travel easy. When traveling becomes easier, trips take on a whole new level. When you can relax and enjoy you get to focus on what matters to you. Besides research and travel experience, having strong organizational and communication skills will also helps me give customers the peace of mind they deserve when using a travel agency.
As a passionate traveler, I believe that travel is about experience, conveying that to clients is my ultimate goal. I want my travelers to understand why they are traveling and what they want out of their experience. Conveying that sense is imperative to the point and purpose of my mission at Travel Further. I want to get people out there and see the world, even if it is a short trip, across the world, or in the next state. The idea of travel should never be insurmountable, it should just be ordinary.
In America, being even just a moderately experience traveler can be something of an advantage in the travel industry. Regardless whether the travel is for business, family trips, or plain leisure, the experiences gained can be easily translated into ideas and knowledge passed to others ready to plan a trip. Sometimes the biggest boost to get people on board with new experiences is to help them get started using either personal advice, backed by lived adventures, or to help them understand what they are looking for through proper research.
To supplement experience, my educational background with a masters degree in history has sharpened and refined my research skills. In addition, my on-going interest in world events has allowed me to remain current on what is happening throughout the world. When factoring where your next adventure will be, these skills can help make a difference between the trip of a lifetime, or a trip from hell. It can also give you the confidence in knowing that you are right where you should be and/or help you mitigate the risk factors if you just have a certain destination in mind you just cannot miss. Coupled with continuing education in the travel industry and working with a successful established industry stalwart such as LaMacchia Travel I am always ready to gain new knowledge.

Our Purpose
Sailing in Antigua Sailing Week
The most frustrating aspect I have encountered in planning and executing my travel dreams is naysayers. It is not that people have a negative attitude towards travel, in most cases it is that they might not be familiar with a certain style of travel, or just adverse to unfamiliar experiences. What we dismiss in life most often are things we have no experience with. Travel Further’s goal is to help you get out there. Traveling gives us another set of eyes with which to see the world we live in and gives us new experiences to gain further insights. Since you live your life on your own terms, our goal is to help you travel on your own terms.

In the planning stages, she compiled a thorough analysis of resort options and provided recommendations on what she thought would suit the crew best. Leading up to the trip, Shannon provided a detailed itinerary for the race weekend, along with a variety of ways the crew could tailor the weekend based on preferences while in Charleston.
Shannon expertly handled all of the traveling logistics -- from coordinating the private jet and black car service upon arrival and departure, to reserving all accommodations for the crew and dinner reservations at the hot spots in Charleston, to arranging for activities when the crew was not competing.
The trip was a dream. It was at a beautiful resort and the weather for sailing could not have been better. It's lovely to show up for a trip that has been tailored to you and not have to deal with any of the hassles of planning it yourse
Thanks Rachel! Glad everyone had a good time!
NCL Alaska Inside Passage Vacation - Great Trip!
The cruise was wonderful and Shannon even managed to snag us $100 extra in credit for the cruise. If you have ever cruised before, you know that the stateroom tab really adds up so extra credit is always appreciated. Thanks Shannon!
