Clarksburg Travel Service opened in July of 1957. Brenda ( my wife ) and I purchased the agency from my parents in 1991.

When a person asks why use a travel service over the internet, the answer is quite simple. We are human, we can offer advise, we have traveled to many of your destinations and have 1st hand knowledge for you. Our clients can reach us during emergencies, while internet clients are on hold for hours. I love watching the people in the airport standing in a 2 hour customer service line while my office has already seen how to fix the situation.

I have been on a combined 46 cruises on 10 different cruise lines. I have been to 46 foreign countries. This allows us to offer a ton of advice.

Today's traveler wants value for their vacation dollar. That is what I take the most pride in achieving.

I have been working in the travel industry for close to 50 years and Brenda another 40 years. We love our jobs and enjoy just talking to our clients.

There is no other travel agency like ours. We never try to push preferred companies on the clients, we are able to sell about every company that works with travel agents, and we care.
