I have been creating exceptional vacation experiences since 1999. I began my journey 23 years ago in the industry by attending the Harper College travel academy in Palatine Illinois for travel agents and meeting planners, graduating in 1999 while still employed at AT&T Communications. I retired in 2004 and pursued my dreams of escorting group journeys worldwide. I have also worked in both retail and wholesale at fortune 500 travel companies which helps me have a full-rounded view of the industry and my client's needs.
On September 22, 2016, I opened the first African-American-owned brick-and-mortar travel agency store in the Chicago Austin community. Along with my team, I offer full-service customized group travel packages for all your needs worldwide. We can service all your airfare, hotel, tour, and insurance needs in person, online, or via phone.
I customize international packages for your travel group needs. Special events at sea, all-inclusive resorts, and youth educational tours. business incentive trips, LGBTQ, multi-generational, honeymoons, retreats, and reunions. We believe everyone can afford to travel. I educate families and organizations about the advantages of planning ahead and with a payment plan, everyone can live their dreams of traveling worldwide.

I had the GREATEST experience with Crystal! Not only was she on top of the payments and itinerary, but due to a broken Kiosk at at Frontier Airline, I missed my flight to Punta Cana and i would have missed my entire vacation AND refund. I was TOTALLY bummed out, as the airline was no help at all, however Crystal made it work! She found me a different flight, with Southwest airline, for the next morning, and it turned out to be the best trip of my life; even though i lost a day.
It wasn't that she just helped me, but the consistent communication, integrity and warm heart in which she handled the situation; true servanthood.

An Encounter of the Magnificent Kind.....Delightful, conscientious, caring and accessible is how I would describe our experience with Ms. Crystal Dyer of Gone Again Travel! She was/is readily available for any questions or concerns one may have, responding very timely! My family and I, along with good friends traveled on a magnificent 7 day cruise a few years ago. My trip was a little more than a round trip: I met a friend in Cannes, he already had a flight booked to Brussels and Crystal booked me on that flight, then I flew back to Chicago. Working with Crystal was seamless. First she asked what type of trip land or cruise? We wanted to cruise and she asked what our budget was, and came back with the cruise to St Thomas, Curaçao, St Lucia, and Aruba. She set up payment plan which was great not having to pay all at once. Good Trip, Poor Communication

I was a little disappointed with the service Crystal provided. She was not very attentive and seemed very unorganized. I was expecting to receive communication every month about the status of our trip once I paid my deposit, but that did not happen. I had to contact her to get an invoice and to inquire about a payment. I would recommend Crystal if she could improve her communication with the clients. In the end, I did enjoy my vacation. The resort was beautiful and the Luau was entertaining.

Crystal and the Gone again travel team are amazing. Traveling is very stressful for me and the planning part is always tedious. Crystal takes all of the stress out of the process and sends you travel options to choose from within your budget. Once booked they provide you with all the information you need to be ready for travel, this was particularly helpful navigating travel restrictions during the pandemic. In addition, while on vacation the team is always reachable to help with any issues that arise or if you decide you want to extend your trip like we did.

Vacation of my Dreams

After reading the article in the Reader, I immediately phoned and got a quick answer from Ms. Crystal! There was a very sincere concern when I explained that for years I had wanted to vacation on Martha’s Vineyard but was always a day late and a dollar short making it happen. Crystal said she would check a few options and get back to me. In 20 minutes she called with some dates and prices!! We talked about what she had found and made it definite in less than two hours. That is exceptional customer service, there was such an efficient manner in which everything was done, I was so happy and confirmed immediately.. finally going to Martha’s Vineyard in August!!
