As a child, I fantasized about someday seeing the many places I'd read about in books. Now, as a travel consultant, I am not only able to visit those destinations myself, but also to help others see the world. I've worked in the travel industry for almost 30 years, since 1984. Although my clients come from throughout the USA and Canada, I am proud to say that Travel Harmony is one of the top 10 travel agencies in Loudoun County, VA.
I specialize in customizing vacations for clients and have designed trips for a wide range of travelers. My planning has benefitted college graduates aspiring to see the world, honeymooners taking their first vacation together, retirees who finally have the time and resources to enjoy the vacation of their dreams.
Recently, I hosted a group tour of senior art docents to Italy. Some had never been to Europe while others were revisiting past destinations. We even had some WWII vets who shared tales of hiding in the Italian hills during the war!
It was much more than a trip. It was a profound educational experience. Travel draws you out of your comfort zone, opens your eyes and your mind, and changes you in unimaginable ways.
Other traveling highlights have included my first visit to India, a private guided tour through Myanmar’s Shwedagon Pavilion during a Crystal Cruise, and 10 days spent touring Morocco.
While each of my own trips holds a special place in my heart, a recent birthday celebration for one of my clients, in Australia, was particularly memorable. In fact, most of my clients who travel to New Zealand or Australia declare their adventures to be the “trip of a lifetime.”

A great trip planner!

Francine did a fantastic job in planning a trip for the two of us to Australia and then for four us us (two of our grown children living in Australia) for a week vacation to Tasmania. All lodging there was fantastic, no issues and it made for a wonderful trip. She thought of everything. Also, it was from her recommendation that we took out an extensive insurance plan that ultimately saved us about 90% of our money when before we we to travel, my wife broke her leg and we had to postpone the original trip for 9 months. Overall, our trip was during the Australian summer and lasted for about 40 days.

When it comes to making a big trip to an unknown country having a great travel agent can make the difference between an exhilarating experience and long hours standing at the curb. Francine Beifeld made out trip to Australia fantastic and her travel tips, great and small, made us feel like pros among among our fellow tourists. Francine knew the places to see, the inns, lodges and hotels to stay at and put together an easy, flowing trip of memorable proportions. Francine was also tireless in her responding to questions and happy to help, even at the end of a long day. In a word she's great.

Francine uses all her knowledge and contacts in the industry to find just the right trip for you. She's put together three cruises along with sightseeing, hotels, etc. and everything was even better than expected. Always covers the smallest detail and doesn't leave the slightest issue to chance. Even though I'm comfortable making a lot of mine own travel arrangements, I especially like leaving the big trips, like cruises and such, to her because I know it will be done right.

She is very helpful. If you have a question she doesn't know the answer too, she will find the answer in a short amount of time and get back to you. I have many friends that travel and I always recommend to my friends that they at least call Francine before booking their trip to see what she can do or them. I'm guessing but think she usually gets their business. She is Always in a great mood and I look forward to book my next trip using Francine. She works hard to ensure you trip will be a hit and one you will remember for years to come.

Francine helped me put together a trip for 6 people to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. There were 14 flights, 1 helicopter ride. She listened attentively to what sort of trip I wanted and then did a supurb job putting it together. I have recommended her to friends ever since and they have all been pleased.

The best travel agent

Francine had booked several trips for me and my friend.Land tour to South America and on the flight back we got stranded in Georgia because of Hurricane Sandy.Francinecalled to check on us and at her end tried to help us out.She had book cruises for us the latest one is this upcoming April.As always she tried to get us the cabin we want. in short she tried sort of comparison shop for us to get the best deal I had known Francine only for the past 3 years. In the past I use to do my own research on any trip we plan .Now with Francine,all I do do is call her. And she does the research for me

I figure out unusual places/things to do and give them to Francine to work on for a while and she comes up with solutions I never dreamed possible. She's very friendly (you need to limit your conversations a bit) and quickly becomes a friend.

Francine worked with us for separate trips to Australia and New Zealand. Both were amazing experiences, thanks to her knowledge and help. Accomodations were excellent and strategically located. Our flights, pickups, car rentals, excursions all ran smoothly. Her suggestions were always spot on and I can't recommend her highly enough.

My wife and I and another couple took a two month trip to Australia and New Zealand. Francine put together the trip with multiple flights and connections and it went off perfectly. Her knowledge of the area was a huge help in planning the trip. We saw and visited what we wanted to see/do and built in times for breaks and simple r and r as we requested. Nobody could have done better.

Never A Clinch

Francine Beifeld has planned several trips for my husband and me to include our honeymoon. Each detail of each trip was covered thoroughly. Her planning always meets our budget but with quality destinations and activities. Our trips have involved multiple stops which require the use of several modes of transportation - plane, train, and car. At each stop, we have been met on time and courteously by drivers. Tours took place on time, without a hitch, and were conducted with quality/qualified guides. No aspect of a trip was left forgotten. Payments are politely handled efficiently. All travel documents are delivered in sufficient time. Francine is diligent about following up with us to make sure our plans are in place and we are prepared. I have never had to follow up with her. She concludes each trip with a phone call or email to follow-up on how the trip was. Francine has a network of colleagues that provide outstanding service. It is Francine's knowledge of the travel industry that allows her to book us absolutely wonder vacations. Love Travel Harmony and Francine in particular. Can't wait to plan our next trip with her.
