Karen did a great job listening to our needs and wants and created a trip based on our schedule and likes. She also did a great job helping us through the COVID issues when travel was canceled. We will use her again when we are able to travel without COVID restrictions.

Karen was willing to video chat before our trip began and get to know us and what we envisioned for our weddingmoon. 72 hours before we were supposed to land in our original destination (Grenada), the island shut down due to a surge in active COVID cases. This meant we needed to re-plan not only our trip, but also our wedding to a new location with new COVID entry requirements. Karen helped any way she could and was up late texting with me and calling resorts at 8am on our behalf. We transferred our booking to Antigua, but were informed by the manager that our room would be chosen based on what management considered comparable to our original booking. However, Karen continued pushing for an upgrade given our situation and was able to secure a room that was better than the original room we paid for in Grenada! This single change made such a difference and we look forward to working with Karen again. It’s clear she works hard to make sure her clients have the trip of a lifetime!

The food was great (this was France after all) the itinerary both varied and comprehensive. The group Karen put together was fun and congenial. All in all, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Karen was so attentive to detail and worked hard to ensure not just a comfortable but a "wow!" experience for all in the group. She secured great hotels and arranged group dinners in some incredible restaurants. It was so reassuring to have her along as part of our travel group. The gulet cruise in Greece was superb and we appreciated the research that she did to find the company in charge (Peter Sommer Travel). We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Amalfi coast with a good balance of arranged tours and "free" time. Overall, probably the best trip we have ever taken!

Karen worked with us to initially present options for a land tour in France.
However, we ultimately decided to take a river cruise instead and she was very helpful in securing our spot on the Avalon "Grand France" river cruise.

As different questions came up, she worked with Avalon to get us the answers we needed. Based on her experience traveling in Paris, she provided suggestions regarding transfers from the airport and sights we should see (we arranged to come in to Paris a day ahead of the cruise).

She contacted us after we returned to ask about our trip and we are looking forward to planning our next!

Our trip to Europe took 5-6 months of planning, all of which Karen and I did by phone and email. We have never met!
