Years ago I realized after I interviewed with Delta Airlines for a stewardess position that just helping travelers while in flight, and being able to fly around the world would not be enough for me.  Even before I was a seasoned traveler myself I knew that once I had visited exotic destinations I would want to share my knowledge with others.  It was then that I began looking into Travel Agent Schools.  It was 1982 when I attended a small school lead by two extremely seasoned travel agents.  The age of travel back then was not the cyber world we know today.  We looked up flights not on a computer but in Official Airline Guides that were mailed to us once a month.  We hand wrote airline tickets and actually spoke on the phone to book flights, hotels and rental cars.  You see, I feel blessed that I essentially “grew up” in this era of travel arranging.  It was because of this hands on approach and face-to-face contact that I had with my customers back then that shaped me into the attentive agent that I am today.  Focusing on client satisfaction and repeat clients was our main concern and this is still my goal today. Through the years I have watched families on groups I have escorted discover not only the destinations around them but also each other as they made lasting memories.  I have had clients return from vacations that I have arranged saying how they have always wanted to do more than just “go” somewhere, but actually experience the destination, and I helped them do just that. I continue to make it my quest to find the out of ordinary things for a family to do while on vacation, something that will give them that Ah Ha moment of their trip. Research and knowing which vendors to use to provide you with personal one of a kind experiences is something that is a given when booking your travel through me.  No detail will be left out. Why trust Google when you can have someone handle all of the details and give you personal insight into training through Europe, ferrying over to the Isle of Capri and finding the best Pensions in Italy.  Do you know the best places to swim in cenotes in the Yucatan…? I do, and I even have the best tour operator to take you there. If you yourself are a well-seasoned traveler just tell me what you are use to and I will take care of it for you.  Finding a villa cluster on St. John for the family group who wanted to be catered too on a beautiful beach was a challenge I enjoyed completely.  Booking back-to-back Princess cruises for one of my well-seasoned Princess cruisers with a land package in between, allowed me to really stretch my expertise. My services no matter how long it takes to complete your vacation planning cost you nothing!  I, like all travel professionals get paid not by you but by the vendors that are used.  These vendors have a commission percentage built into their product, when you book through them directly; they just make a larger profit.  By allowing me to handle every detail of your vacation for you I am able to get paid by the vendor.   I am looking forward to speaking with you to begin planning an epic journey for you.  Call me; I’m a lot friendlier than a computer screen full of facts.
