I don't write reviews very often but this one deserves it twice over.

She was very helpful and persistent (other travel agents never called me back except for 1 out of 8 or so) in trying to keep in touch and find me the exact vacation spot that I was looking for. I was going through a very busy time in my life (new job and planning a wedding) but she kept at it and didn't overstep her bounds.

I was skeptical of her judgement of some locations, but submitted myself to her politeness and ease to work with and I'm glad I listened to her comments!

I am very impressed to this day with her knowledge of this beautiful planet that we live on as well as her travel experience. I'm convinced that that is the key to her success.

My wife and I enjoyed the Secrets resort that she planned for us and will be going back again (just like Pam guessed we would).

All in all, it was a great experience and didn't consume lots of time We knew we wanted to go to Mexico and on the Atlantic side and having a 2.5 year old and 8 month old in tow, I needed some must-haves within our budget. There are so many resorts and reviews, it is just so hard to navigate, so I left it up to Pam and even consulted some other agents, who would not stay with in our budget and seemed to whip automatic responses. With kids, I needed a suite style room and family friendly with child care and didn't want to both other guests. I also wanted a nice hotel and decent food and a nice fitness center. We landed on Paradisus La Esmeralda and it was perfect and the most kid- friendly environment ever (you don't want to go to family side without fairly young kids -- they are everywhere) which was perfect for us. You read so many reviews and they all had some complaints, dirty, too much walking, bad wifi... the people are just complainers -- Pam steered us in the perfect direction.

Pam made scheduling our trip a breeze. Her suggestions made the trip so easy on us; all we had to do was show up. And she offered selections that fit our budget. We were not disappointed one bit.

I recently finished my 2 week trip to Taiwan that was planned for me by Pam MacIntyre. The tour company she used in Taiwan was fantastic! I had a customized private tour that took me to all of the places that I wanted to see.
The accommodations were very good and very convenient for the few days that I was on my own without a guide. The guides that I had through the tour company were both very personable, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. As a woman travelling alone I felt completely relaxed and safe travelling with the tour guides. They took great care of me and were flexible if I wanted to change up the itinerary a little..

Great travel agent! Pam had excellent communication and gave us a much better price than we were able to find online (eg orbitz, expedia, etc) and we searched for quite a bit. We recommended her to our friends and would definitely use her again. We went to Hotel Xcaret in Mexico. Probably one of the best resorts we have been to. The activities were the biggest difference from the other resorts. There are multiple activity parks associated with the hotel. It was one of the most enjoyable trips we have taken. The hotel itself is quite new (only about 2 years old). The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. The food was top notch! We would absolutely go there again.

Pam was quick to answer all my questions thoroughly. I was concerned about traveling to the Dominican by myself with kids and she went above and beyond to help me feel safe and enjoy our time there. I will definitely use Pam again for future trips.

I am Pam's Aunt and We just want to thank her for her assistance getting us home during the airport shut downs due to Covid 19 in March of 2020. We were scheduled to leave Belize and heard they were shutting down the Belize City airport the day before we were scheduled to leave. After several attempts to contact the airline I finally called Pam, even though she had not made our airline plans and she graciously went about contacting the airline for us and getting our flights changed as well as changing hotel reservations for us at the end of our flight home. Her swift work got us out of Belize city on the last flight to Minneapolis and removed a huge amount of stress from our travel unlike others on the plane who said they were on hold with airlines and travel companies for 3-4 hours waiting to make changes in their flight plans. Thank you Pam for your gracious assistance. We were so grateful that you were able to assist us.

This is our 3rd year working with Pam and the previous years have been phenomenal. Unfortunately, we were not able to take our family trip to Mexico this year and family has kept us updated on refunds and credits and has done her best to get us back the money we spent. - She arranged a 3-way conference call with a CIE representative when I expressed a concern about one aspect of the CIE contract, and made sure that I was satisfied with the CIE response

In a situation like this, when advance planning is the key to success, and a lot of money is invested, Pam understood that completely and was an excellent communicator.

At first Pam seemed to be a little frustrated with us. Which could be understandable since we did not give much of a notice of our vacation and only had a 2500.00 spending limit. Could have also been misinterpreted over email. Pam showed a serious lack of attention to detail. Our room was booked as two separate individuals sharing a room. She apparently felt the need to only work with the one individual that did the initial booking. We had to call several times to get her to send me the packet of information needed for the trip. She never asked for my information regarding my travel plans, i.e. where was I coming from, what time would I arrive, thus causing confusion with the transportation. Then upon check in at hotel they had to reference the other persons name to find my name on the reservation. So many little things overlooked that I just felt completely unsatisified. Many others in the party expressed similar concerns.

I travel for a living, on planes and in hotels several times each month. So when it came time to book my honeymoon, I initially had no intention of using a travel agent. THANK GOODNESS, I changed my mind when I looked at my hectic work schedule on top of all the wedding planning. My experience with Pam as our travel agent was great! Once I contacted her, our trip was booked within a week. She answered any questions as quickly as possible. Unfortunately our trip got cancelled months later due to border restrictions during quarentine time. Even then, she was quick to give us options on what we could do with our reservations and money spent.

The only reason we gave a 4 star, rather than a 5 star rating, was that it sometimes took many back and forth EMails to get clear answers to our many questions. We shouldn't have worried. The UNICO Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, was a superb choice. It exceeded our expectations on all levels. Considering that the resort, and particularly our ocean front King Room, (cost daily as an all-inclusive,) much more than we would have normally spent, it was worth every penny. Having both worked in the travel industry as flight attendants for a major airline for over 40+ years, we have vast experience about what makes for a good (or bad) travel experience. I would have to place this venue, at (or very near) the top for its location, peace and quiet, incredible food, and customer service. Know that if you might be a little shocked at the high-season rates, particularly for ocean front King room, go for it! It is worth every penny. You won't regret your choice!

She listened well to my requests. It sometimes took longer to respond than I would have preferred, but in the end that did not matter much. As I review rates available now, I think that I got a fair price, with probably some discount to the 'rack' rates and I got the quality experience that I needed for our honeymoon.

The trip could have been better if it wasn't due to restrictions for adults only on 3 restaurants as we traveled with couple of kids. Also on our last day the AC broke down and we had no AC for about 24 hrs. Try to sleep without AC or fans in hot and humid place.

The resorts she suggested stayed within our budget and all of the additional "upgrades" she added to our reservation were provided upon arrival. I can't say enough great things about Pam! I knew from the moment I spoke with her on the phone that we were in good hands. Pam is extremely knowledgeable about travel destinations and does an excellent job of explaining the the pros and cons of each of them. We wanted to go someplace with white sandy beaches and turquoise water, but couldn't spend a ton of money. Right away Pam knew where to direct us...Cancun! Planned a trip prior to covid but scheduled in May. Pam was helpful in the planning process and was on top of all the changes and cancelations when they happened. She help us through and we felt comfortable rescheduling for September 2021. Unfortunately due to a change in the health of my wife we had to cancel again. Very easy no hassle

Overall, our Punta Cana and Secrets Resort vacation was excellent.

We noticed some significant differences in this resort (versus other all inclusive resorts):
1. Food and drinks were superior,
2. The service was first class. Our personal butlers were very helpful and checked on us daily.
3. Beach chairs – there was no race to get beach chairs in the morning. Many resorts simply don’t have enough.
4. All of the restaurants had good service & getting reservations was not a problem.
5. We are not too much into entertainment at all inclusive, but we did enjoy this resort's entertainment.
6. Support staff - all were very helpful and friendly.
7. Security - I have never seen so many security people at all hours of the day throughout the resort. We didn't experience any issues or ever feel threatened.
8. Sunrises were absolutely beautiful.


Negative – I think the pricing was too high when compared to other all inclusive resorts.

Pam planned an unforgettable trip for our family! We had so many questions about possible destinatons and she was able to provide very detailed information and helped us compare all the choices so we could arrive at the perfect destination. She planned every step of the trip and it all went seamlessly (flights, transportaton, resort stay). This was our first time using a travel agent and this experience exceeded all of our expectations..even our 2 teenagers who are quite hard to impress!

It was good! We booked a spring break trip and Pam was very patient and walked us through the insurance options. We went with the cancel for any reason coverage, and glad we did! Our kids schedules over spring break did not work out so we are now able to use the credit toward a family vacation this summer when we don't have any conflicts.

Pam helped me plan a trip to Playa del Carmen. I was very apprehensive about going to Mexico, but she eased my concerns and helped find a place and transportation I was comfortable with. After having an issue with transportation, Pam went out of her way, outside of normal working hours,to help resolve the problem. also, getting me a partial refund and better transportation for the return trip.

Pam is really good at what she does. She helped us plan an amazing trip! It was supposed to be for 6 couples and she did great navigating all the requests. It turned out the other couples had to cancel and she did great helping them with that. While initially we were sad, we loved the alone time. The resort she helped us pick was outstanding. She arranged a private transfer for us to/from airport. It was all excellent service.

I cannot say enough positives things about our experience with Pam. First off she is working with a bride , a destination wedding , all our guests and the resort. I could never have done even a small portion of the work she did for us all. Pam took each of our reservations and request and worked magic for us all and at the same time keeping my daughter ( the bride) calm. We could never have done it without her. Then came this Coronavirus and I thank God for Pam every day for all the work , and keeping people calm etc. she did. Not only did she handle every guests reservations she did all this and at the same time was trying to do everything possible to help my daughter stay calm knowing how upset she was. Pam seemed to take a personal interest in how my daughter was doing and me and our guests. We would never have had that without he! We are SO THANKFUL to have Pam at this time. I will book all my travels in future with Pam. One guest had a 42 hr. wait with Travelocity not us!

All in all, it was a great experience and didn't consume lots of time We knew we wanted to go to Mexico and on the Atlantic side and having a 2.5 year old and 8 month old in tow, I needed some must-haves within our budget. There are so many resorts and reviews, it is just so hard to navigate, so I left it up to Pam and even consulted some other agents, who would not stay with in our budget and seemed to whip automatic responses. With kids, I needed a suite style room and family friendly with child care and didn't want to both other guests. I also wanted a nice hotel and decent food and a nice fitness center. We landed on Paradisus La Esmeralda and it was perfect and the most kid- friendly environment ever (you don't want to go to family side without fairly young kids -- they are everywhere) which was perfect for us. You read so many reviews and they all had some complaints, dirty, too much walking, bad wifi... the people are just complainers -- Pam steered us in the perfect direction.

We worked with Pam because our friends were working with her on their destination wedding travel plans. First initial conversation was awesome and she gave a ton of information. Second conversation we asked about adult only amenities and she didn't really sell us on this so we didn't move forward. Months later after booking we talked with friends who went with someone else for travel plans and they informed us about the elegance club and how we most definitely wanted that. So we emailed Pam and asked to see if we could get a swim up, she said they were available. We then called in the next day to make final payment and upgrade to find out that wasn't available as she really didn't read what we were asking for in the email. We also paid with two card and she sent over a receipt showing one card payment after I requested two and said it was overlooked. Everything was booked perfect and we had no problems on our trip is was the lack in communication while booking that was troublesome.
