My recommendation is to make sure you purchase the insurance! Alliance processed and paid the claim quickly. That credit needs to go to Laura as well, for she stayed on top of everything. When able we will definitely travel with Piedmont Travel and have Laura handle our trip again.

I throughly had a great time. I went to Porta Rico, Brazil & Cuba all within a three month time span. Everything went was good except for the African Drum Event. It was supposed to have been were you different instruments and play along with other people in a central location. It turned out my wife and I were the only people there and location was his front room apartment with a baby crying in another room the whole time we were there. We left after about twenty minutes, it wasn’t what we paid for and it WASN’T worth staying for and certainly wasn’t what we paid for. As far as the planning, preparations, information and paperwork goes, Laura was great!! She worked everything out so that it went to as how we wanted it to go. She's very informative, very thorough, her concerns about your SAFETY, having a good time and YOU GETTING THE MOST FOR YOUR MONEY. We’re hoping to get our money back for that tour, other than that, we would use Piedmont Travel with Laura.

This was the 1st time I have ever used a travel agent to plan a trip. Not knowing where to start and what would be the safest, I walked into the office where I was greeted by Laura. We recently enjoyed a wonderful 11 nights in Ireland. We spent many nights online trying to plan the trip on our own. We were fortunate to have found Laura Morillo. Laura was so helpful in planning a Tauck tour for my husband and me to Hawaii. She answered many questions before we left. We happened to be there during the Maui fire. Laura was notified by Tauck about our Maui cancellation and had our return flights made before we even knew of the cancellation. That took a load off our minds. Laura's recommendations were invaluable. I never felt I could afford guides in most of my previous travels but she found some terrific people for the Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens and the Roman Forum/Colosseum. She also recommended a Pizza/Gelato Craft Session in the Tuscan Hills that we found delightful--and an opportunity to meet other people from various countries. We thought her recommendations for hotels were superb and mindful of our budget. She had solid recommendations on the changing protocols for Covid testing and Travel Insurance. Some small issues: It would help to have current advice on tipping practices in Italy. It would have also helped to have better service for our skip the line tickets at the Uffizi--which turned out to be a rather long line and challenging to find the company issuing the tickets.
