I have been in the business for over 20 years I have a Bachelor of Arts from St. Cloud State with a major in Geography and Travel and Tourism. Carrie was very knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. Our trip was planned to gather with family and friends for a wedding. Dreams Resort was an incredible location, right on the ocean. Beautiful landscaping, multiple swimming pools were connected, the rooms were spacious, beautiful, and well kept. My sheets were turned down each night when I came back to my room, curtains closed. So special to be so cared for. Everyone that worked there was kind and went out of their way to be helpful. Everyday I could walk the beach and enjoy the sound of the water and the beauty all around. Carrie had been there before so she could answer all my questions about the trip. Carrie made arrangements for our travel from the airport and for our return to the airport. Everything was included and it was an amazing trip and a wonderful place to connect with family and a beautiful venue for a wedding. I would recommend Carrie to anyone planning a trip.

My husband and I wanted to go on a family vacation with our two college-aged sons, ages 23 & 21. Carrie helped plan our first trip to Costa Rica and it was amazing! Carrie set up our transportation to and from the hotel- it was so convenient and hassle-free. She provided a list of excursions to choose from ahead of time. We went whitewater rafting, ziplining, 4-wheeling, visited the active Arenal volcano, went to the rainforest with hanging bridges and relaxed in the natural hot springs. We also had fun relaxed by the pool, swam in the ocean, had massages and enjoyed the 90° sunny weather. We fed monkeys at the monkey bar, swam to and under a waterfall and enjoyed the friendly, relaxed vibe of Costa Rica. What a spectacular destination! Pura vida!

Our family has been using Carrie and Pineapple Travel for years to plan and book our trips. It has been invaluable using a travel agent, especially when we book our multi family vacations. She eliminates the hassle and stress of putting together a package at a few different reputable resorts for us to choose from. We also really like not having to worry about the transfers to and from the airport to the hotel as traversing a foreign airport and dealing with getting a taxi can be overwhelming, but knowing that our transfer is taken care of is a relief. Also, having Carrie to contact with any questions or concerns when they arise is an added benefit.Carrie is really great about answering any and all questions and if she doesn't know something she has no problem with doing some digging to see if she can find an answer.
We will definitely be continuing to book our vacations through Carrie and Pineapple Travel and we are already excited about booking our next vacation next year

First time I used Carrie was for a trip in March of 2020 to the Dominican Republic. I had always done my own travel plans and decided to use an agent because I was taking kids along that weren’t my own. I had been recommended to Carrie and it was a very pleasant planning experience. We arrived in the DR and literally the next morning the USA had went into full lockdown for COVID. Everyone was trying to get home. I called Carrie and she said she was monitoring the situation and would keep me abreast of any and all mandates coming from the US. Told me to try and go enjoy my time and she’d take care of everything for us. All week Carrie kept us updated and helped us to remain calm and actually enjoy our trip as much as we could. Kept up to date on our flight home and ensured us we were good to go. Never been so happy to have a travel agent being in charge as I was that trip. We now use Carrie for all our trips be they in the US and just last month a dream trip to Italy. I would recommend this agent to my family and friends

Carrie is an incredible travel agent! We have been working with her for around a decade. I feel confident in her guidance, and we have really enjoyed all the resorts and locales she has recommended. When traveling internationally she made sure everything was arranged and it brought peace of mind when traveling with young kids. She is also a Disney World expert making sure we made the most of our experiences there. She also brings such enthusiasm to the process, I enjoy planning the trips with her because she is as excited as we are. My family has booked vacations through Carrie for years and it has always been a very smooth experience. It puts me at ease knowing our flights, transportation to and from the airport, and the resort is all taken care of by her and we can just relax and enjoy our trip. I was referred to Carrie when plannnig a first time trip to Mexico for spring break... in March of 2020. Her knowledge of various family-friendly, all-inclusive options was wonderful and extremely helpful when choosing our destination. Then the lovely Covid pandemic happened and our "Mexico trip of a lifetime" had to be cancelled. Fast forward 18+ months with a clock ticking to rebook unused air and land credits. Once again, I received the same wonderful service I did the first time around. What started as one family vacation to Mexico ended up being 3 smaller trips to U.S. cities - long weekends - one of which is still to happen in October 2022. Not our dream Mexico trip but still trips with memories to last a lifetime. Through it all Carrie was responsive to all my questions, incredibly knoweledgeable, prompt with getting back to me and incredibly patient. First class service all around and always very pleasant and friendly. HIGHLY recommend Carrie and her services!

We’ve had Carrie plan two overseas trips for us in the past year. A river cruise on the Danube an we just got back from the Dominican Republic. Carrie did a great job on several trips for our family. I recommended her to several friends and family members because she really does great work that adds value. People seem to think they can do better booking everything themselves online. When I tried to find deals like the ones Carrie booked for us, I could never get close to the prices we got through Carrie. The real value she brings, though, is in the quality of the trips. She books us in great places and takes care of all the details - airport transfers, ensuring we have a great place that meets what we want, etc. I give Carrie my strongest recommendation. She booked trips to Cozumel, Punta Cana, and Australia for us in the past 18 months and did great on every trip. Our family loved the accommodations and the service we received.

When beginning to plan for a trip, I give Carrie my desired budget and she always finds high quality destinations within my budget. She offers me suggestions of various destinations after she speaks with me about my criteria and expectations of my future vacation. She is willing to take time to work with me as I make decisions... even reworking and coming up with new destinations and resorts if I change my mind along the way.

Carrie was absolutely fantastic! She negotiated a fabulous rate for us, including getting the resort fee waived and a resort credit towards our bill. The resort she recommended was one of the nicest places I have stayed in and was an absolutely incredible experience. I will go through Carrie before I would book anywhere online now. Our friends went through an online website to book the same trip and had a rude awakening when they had to pay the resort fee at the end of the trip!

I have booked many vacations with Carrie and have always had impeccable service. She goes above and beyond to accommodate my travel needs, even bringing me to the airport to catch my flights. Disney Where Dreams Come True.

We were dissatisfied with our past travel agent. This is the first vacation we have booked with Carrie. She met us at our son's house to plan our dream trip to Disney - staying on the Disney property. Carrie gave us all the tips on booking a great Disney Vacation. (magic bands, food plan, photo plan - loved these options - booking the meals early and using the fast passes). We traveled with 6 people (2 children) - 2 rooms. We requested rooms close and they were right next to each other and very close to the restaurant and pools.
Any questions that we had between booking and going on our vacation were handled very quickly and professionally by Carrie.
