From the moment I took my first international trip with my Spanish class in High School I have been in love with the idea of traveling to other countries to experience their culture, food, rich history, architecture and language!
I also had my own dream of having a destination wedding, after planning my own wedding aboard a cruise ship, I have been trying to get others to experience the joys of planning a destination wedding. It is a lot less stressful than planning one stateside and the wedding coordinators at the various resorts and aboard the ships are amazing! They pull off up to 9 weddings a day at some of these resorts and you would never know!
I have established a network at various resorts, which helps keep me up to date on new offerings, like hosting your destination wedding on a private island or in the chapel.
Of course having the opportunity to visit these destinations in the Caribbean throughout the year helps me secure special privileges for my clients!
If you are planning a destination wedding, group getaway, honeymoon, family reunion, vow renewal or just a trip for two people in love, but want this trip to be great....one for the memory books, I stand ready to assist!

Shanell was absolutely amazing!She will now be my families go to regarding our travel endeavors. She booked majority of our weeding party of almost 50 people initially heading to the Dominican Republic.My husband and I opted to change our destination wedding from the DR to Cancun within 30 days of our wedding due to the reports occurring in that area. Shanell successfully transferred all of our booking information from one destination to the other, waiting on the phone with airlines and other travel entities to get everyone situated.She even managed to get some of us refunds! Shanell also assisted us in choosing the resort that we ultimately decided to go with, giving us recommendations along the way. She was thorough and reliable,I am so appreciative of her efforts. We highly recommend Shanell Nero as a travel agent, and truly enjoyed working with her. Shanell is by far the best travel agent/event coordinator and everything in between that I know! Planning a wedding can be stressful especially when it’s out of the country but Shanell made sure everything was perfect for us! From securing the venue that she suggested which was absolutely breathtaking, to making sure the guests were booked and had their itineraries to making sure my wedding was everything I ever wanted! All of my guests would agree that working with Shanell was easy. Everyone had a really great time and I owe this to Shanell, who went beyond what was expected of her to make sure everyone was well taken care of.

Excellent working with Shanell Nero for the second time. She helped make my destination wedding an amazing experience for not only my wife but all our guest. She made magic changing our wedding from the DR to Cancun 30 days prior to our big day successfully without any issues. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our experience working with Shanell! She was our travel agent for one of the most important and memorable trips of our lives...our wedding!
