Before selling travel, I traveled the world as an executive for a Fortune 100 company. I experienced people and places in a way that ordinary tourists don't get the opportunity to experience. Since purchasing my agency in early 2008, I have continued to quench my traveling thirst through cruises in the Caribbean, New England, Alaska, and Europe. I frequently visit and inspect all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. I have discovered the joy and relaxation that a river cruise brings. And I have continued to expand my list of countries visited to over 25. In fact, custom itineraries throughout Europe are my specialty - I will put together the planes, trains, automobiles, tours, etc. for an amazing land-based experience that will exceed your expectations. I also do the same for Australia/New Zealand and South Africa!! And, as our clients get more adventurous, Tahiti and Bora Bora, along with Fiji and the Maldives are becoming popular destinations we book.
My job isn't just to get you the best "deal" - I am not an order taker. My job is to use my knowledge of geography, suppliers, weather, airlines, cruise lines and ships, resorts and hotels, tour operators, etc., to ensure that you make an informed choice about your vacation. A "deal" isn't a great value if you don't enjoy yourself once you get there! There is a reason that it may be cheaper to go to a certain destination during a certain month - it may be their rainy season! I make sure that you get the best value out of your vacation budget. Not everyone can afford to stay at the top resorts, but it's my responsibility to make sure that you spend your money wisely and effectively, well-informed about the pros and cons.
It's also my responsibility to take care of you from the moment we first meet until you return home. I want to build a long-term relationship with you - to earn your trust so that you will not only book this vacation with me, but all your vacations to come! I have used Liane several times for vacations to Europe - both with exceptional outcomes. The first being a honeymoon to Italy and most recently a Rhine River Cruise. From the very beginning Liane and her team did an amazing job bringing this trip to life for us. It was absolutely perfect, and everything we wanted it to be. From the travel, to the hotel, to the excursions, it was an absolute dream and we couldn’t have done it without her. Even on the day we left when we were made aware of a potential flight delay, she was available to help put together alternative routes if we needed them. Liane's attention to detail to ensure all of our wants/needs were met made this a trip of a lifetime for my daughter and I. When our flight home was cancelled due to weather and we realized we might not be able to make our beloved Chiefs playoff football game, Liane jumped in to action on a Friday night and quickly got us rebooked/rerouted ensuring we made it to the game in the nick of time! Great Trip to Alaska

We are so appreciative of Liane’s help in planning our trip to Alaska. She booked a wonderful cruise on the Celebrity Millenium with a couple of days in Anchorage before the cruise. Liane had suggestions for things to do in and around Anchorage and reserved a rental car for a day trip. She also arranged a fantastic train ride from Anchorage to Seward and then a great fishing guide for the men in Seward. I could go on and on but I will finish by saying that Liane thought of everything and then did all of the work. We got to have all of the fun.

Liane has helped us with planning two trips. She helped us with a family vacation to Puerto Vallarta in 2012. On that trip, we had to reschedule everything by 1 day because of some family illness, and Liane pretty much spent the entire day doing everything she could to reschedule things, and we had exactly the same bookings and accommodation as we originally were supposed to have, and she pretty much saved our vacation for something we really were looking forward to. We also used Liane in March of 2015 to plan my wife's trip to visit my daughter in London and Liane took the time to listen to us, talk to my wife about what she wanted to do, and she nailed the itinerary. Liane listens to what you hope to do, and plans a wonderful experience because she pays attention to what you say. She advises well, and her service is superb. I would strongly recommend her to anyone, and we definitely plan to use her in the future. Liane plans experiences....not trips.

If you are a Type A+ personality type, you will need Liane in your life FOREVER! She saved our sanity planning our 4-week Europe trip to Portugal and Italy. In our intro meeting, Liane took note of cities/locations we wanted to visit and vibes we wanted to have (days at the vineyard, beaches, nightlife, etc.). She is a phenomenal listener. A few weeks later, we reviewed the draft itinerary and she advised on a few changes to consider, based on her own extensive personal travels and all her clients’ feedback on their trips. Then, Liane booked ALL our travel. Her attention to detail and organization is a GODSEND. Throughout the entire planning process with Liane, she always kept us in the loop and involved with decision-making. There are no adequate words to describe how grateful we felt that our Europe trip was in Liane's capable hands, from start to finish. I will not ever plan an international vacation without Liane again, and you should not either!!

Liane was a delight to work with from beginning to end. Our trip was planned perfectly down to the smallest details! We had several days on land before our cruise started, and the shore trips that she suggested and executed were fantastic! The men especially loved their fishing trip, and the train ride from Anchorage to Seward was phenomenal. In addition, we loved the cruise ship she suggested we usel. Honestly, the whole trip was so well executed, and we never had to worry about anything, including lodging, airfare, and transportation. She handled it all!

The Perfect Honeymoon!

We had a wonderful experience with Liane and Trina planning our honeymoon! They planned multiple itineraries at multiple locations that helped us to realize and bring the best trip we could have ever asked for to reality. We traveled to a number of beautiful locations in Italy over the course of two weeks and everything went smoothly and according to plan. The managers at almost every hotel we stayed at knew Liane and Trina and they always had a special surprise or experience when we arrived at each location. Even months after the trip after we received a speeding ticket and Liana was so helpful to in getting it resolved. We couldn’t be more thankful for our experience with Liane and Trina at Picture This Travel and definitely plan to use their services to plan future vacations!

Liane has made 2 wonderful trips for my family. Our first trip was a cruise, when my daughter graduated High School, which was amazing. The 2nd trip was with my husband and I and another couple, we went on a all inclusive trip to Mexico. She made both of these trips so easy for me, we asked all the questions and she took care of everything. We told her our budget and away she went. She was so honest telling us that the resort in Mexico she had never been to so she couldn't personally recommend, but I went on trip advisor and read all about it, which she advised. But after we returned, I told her it was a great resort, Which was Catalonia Royal Tulum. So now she can recommend to her friends and family. She does all necessary to make this so easy. I would highly recommend this lady to help with all your travel needs. We will be calling her again for sure.

Liane was fantastic in helping me plan a 3 month trip to Southeast Asia. She did a lot of research and provided me with many options that I was able to then choose from. She made everything clear and easy to understand and personally wanted me to have the best trip of my life. Liane is great a great communicator and pays close attention to details. She takes the work and worry about where you are going and how you are going to get there. If you give a budget and destinations she will quickly come back with several options and recommendations. We have gone on at least 7 trips through Liane and will be back again.

We have used Liane and Trina on several occasions and already have another trip in the planning. We recently experienced a different travel agency for a group trip. The difference was like night and day. The level of responsiveness and planning details provided by Liane and Trina take away any worries. Lodging and private tours have exceeded our expectations. One trip in particular was traveling through Spain via rail and car. We spent time seeing the cities and the beautiful hill country. Many of the private tour guides were historians and were able to give us much more of a local perspective than if we had been in large groups or stumbling through on our own.

Liane helped us plan one of the most important trips of our lives, our honeymoon! We decided together to embark on a cruise of the Mediterranean and sightseeing in four countries. Liane had all the tips, tricks and pointers that helped us get around in a foreign country like pros even though we had never been overseas. I've used Liane several times to plan spring break cruises and all-inclusive adult vacations. She's awesome! She knows her stuff, always has great advice, and is available to help you with any travel issues that might come up. My flight got cancelled at 5:30 am and I called her crying on the phone. Not only did she answer, but she did everything she could to get us a flight on a terrible air travel day. It's nice to have someone who has your back!

Liane was referred to us by a friend, and she did not disappoint! She had a wealth of knowledge about every place we wanted to see, and she created an itinerary that not only met our budget, but included EVERY tour we could imagine! Some highlights: *Each hotel was unique from the others and we felt safe in each location she chose. *The train tickets between each city allowed us to see the country- side and not worry about having to drive in another country.
*The app she created for us was amazing and held all of our important documents in one place and allowed us a convenient way to communicate with her throughout our trip.
*She gave us tons of information regarding cultural expectations as well (what to wear, how to tip, etc)
We had an amazing trip and will definitely be calling Liane again!

Liane has arranged several trips for me, ranging from simply getting a good round-trip air fare to multi-country plane-car-hotel-insurance propositions for open-jaw travel at difficult times of the year. Liane planned a post graduation trip for me and my two sons and one friend when the oldest graduated from high school. It was the best experience ever!! She found a property in Mexico that made me very comfortable to let the two teenage boys (who could legally drink there) have some fun but also be controlled enough that I didn't have to be a nervous wreck.
She was quick to respond with questions - available at crazy hours without batting an eye and the follow-up after the trip was excellent!
One of the many things that impressed me is Liane, for Mexico at least, does not recommend a property she hasn't visited. That means she knows the place inside and out, and you can be comfortable that it's going to meet your needs.
We will definitely use her for other big trips!

Although my husband and I had a narrow budget, Liane never made us feel undervalued. We thought we would have to settle for whatever we could get, but Liane assured us that she would never book our stay in a place she wouldn't book for herself. She came through the for us and our honeymoon in Cancun was amazing and affordable. Two things we never thought we could have. Liane is a Rock Star!

Liane has helped us plan 2 trips to Europe. She found us great places to stay at reasonable prices. This can only be done from experience, because you never know what you are going to get in Europe just looking on the internet. Transportation showed up on time and very courteous. If you have an idea for what you want or where you want to go, she can help fill in the details and give you ideas for things to see and where to go that you don't want to miss. We ran into an unexpected issue while on the trip and she jumped right in to help and get us what we needed. That's very uncommon once you book with anyone else. The difference is that she loves what she does. She can provide first hand experience. And, she truly enjoys helping people to have a flawless experience.

Liane and Trina helped us coordinate a couple of different attempts at a cruise for our family and friends at the holidays. We went back and forth between Christmas and Thanksgiving and both Trina and Liane were wonderful. They offered us a variety of options and invested a lot of time and energy to make sure we had the "perfect" experience. Liane presented multiple options with full details and built us an awesome itinerary. This was the first time my wife had been out of the country. We spent 2 weeks touring through Rome, Tuscany, Florence, Venice. The winery Liane recommended we definitely will be going back to stay at the winery. Liane supported us before during and after the trip. When our transportation to Pompeii did not show she took care of all correspondence and got us a full refund! We will definitely use Liane in the future

The Ins and outs of a trip to Disney World are amazingly complex, and if you don't have somebody explaining them to you and making sure you're making right decisions, it can be a nightmare! Liane was incredible at making sure that we knew all of the tips and tricks to make that vacation one that was great for our children and grandchildren! You tell Liane what your interested in or she will ask you questions if you have no idea and make recommendations. If you don't like the options she proposes she will quickly turn around another set. When it comes for trip time she makes sure everything is taken care off and all you have to do is worry about being on time for the airport. We have gone through Liane several times and each trip has been a great. We have recommended her to everyone that asks who we went through for our trips.

Liane not only brings years of travel experience and first hand knowledge of her recommended destinations, she has an incredible gift of being highly organized and a very prompt communicator. Once we asked Liane for 3 or 4 ideas for our trip, she came back with 4 complete itineraries, total cost for each package and personal comments and recommendations regarding each destination. We have used Liane three times now; two all-inclusive vacations and one European cruise. All three were incredible and left us yearning to go back again.
