While this may sound funny, but I specialize in "virgin" travelers -- clients who have never traveled outside of their own state. This group makes up about 75 percent of my clients who do business with me the first time. I really enjoy working with first-time travelers and showing them the joys of seeing and experiencing new destinations and cultures.  My records show most of my clients are repeats.  I like to think it is because of the personalized service I offer.

I do charge a plan to go fee of $50 and up.  This amount is non-refundable.  While every client is important to me, it is imperative that I focus my resources and time on clients who are serious and ready to travel.

Because many of my clients are "virgins," I also work with them on their trip budget. My favorite quote is Eugene Fodor's "You don't have to be rich to travel well."  And it is true.

Sometimes, it just takes some creative planning, careful budgeting, and an understanding of Advisor. That is why I like to sit down with my clients and discuss various ways they can save on their journey. For example, I may suggest that they travel during the off-peak season to save money.  And I also offer a layaway plan for my clients.  I accept various payment options to make it convenient for my clients.

Another way I help new clients is by traveling once a year with a group that I organize. Some people just feel more comfortable on an escorted cruise or tour. It eases their mind to know that they have someone knowledgeable with them if they should have any questions or problems.

I am also the go-to Travel Advisor for many busy families who just don't have the time to plan out a complex itinerary or compare the various cruise or all-inclusive options out there. These clients realize my value and wisdom that it makes more sense to leave their travel plans in my hands.   I have the knowledge, training spent time getting to know their likes and dislikes to book the right vacation for them.

And I continue to stay updated with new travel protocols and restrictions.  Staying knowledgeable about what is going on in the travel industry is one of my added values to my clients. On average, I sail on approximately five cruises a year and also stay in at least one all-inclusive in either Mexico or the Caribbean.
