I began my career as a world history teacher who preferred to travel during school breaks. After several years of teaching, I found that I was living for my next opportunity to explore the world around me and my entrepreneurial spirit took over. I knew that the next best step for me was to become a travel agent specializing in luxury leisure experiences.
While I book vacations to many destinations for the discerning traveler, I am an expert in the Caribbean and Mexico. Too many people assume that they can book their own trip by taking advantage of online booking sites, but there's many advantages to booking with an experienced travel agent:
- I am always traveling. This allows me to provide my clients with accurate, detailed information about the destination and hotel that they choose. I am honest and upfront, and I am skilled at matching my travelers to the perfect resort for their desired experience.
- I am personally invested in every trip that I plan. I love that my clients consider me to be a trusted resource. Many of the people who book with me know that they can count on my recommendations. They trust that I will steer them in the right direction.
- I am connected in the industry. Throughout the year I spend time attending conferences and trade shows that allow me to stay up to date with what is new and changing in travel. I use this as a time to further my existing relationships while also developing new contacts with those who can enhance your travel experience.
Ultimately, my passion lies in allowing others to experience the world around us. This is also why my husband and I created the Travel for Hope Foundation. Up until operations ceased in 2021, our foundation provided individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness the gift of a dream vacation. Each year, we would send one person and companion on a trip of a lifetime, and it's so rewarding to know that they are enjoying a grand adventure with their loved ones.
To put it simply, travel is transformational and leaves an impression on our lives. When I talk about my own explorations or previous trips I have booked for clients, people can hear the excitement and dedication in my voice. Travel during Covid, She Made It Happen!

There are no words to express the gratitude my family has for Lauren's commitment to a great travel experience, during COVID nonetheless! I don't think Lauren anticipated our commitment to travel (in spite of COVID) when we started working together. When Turks boarders closed, she spent countless hours on the phone to change our resort/flight plans on multiple occasions between March '20 and August '20. When the boarders re-opened her work didn't stop b/c our resort wouldn't be open, then a hurricane canceled our flight as we pulled into the airport - Off to work she went AGAIN. Long story short - we made it to Turks! (Grace Bay Club) It was everything she promised and more. She arranged so many special touches and upgrades. Her communication and patience through months of challenges was stellar, She was thorough/detail oriented and just what we needed to navigate travel during a global pandemic. You'll be in good hands! Excellent Service Under Extreme Conditions

Lauren worked with me to plan a week long trip to Italy for my family. She took the time to learn our interests, types of activities and desired travel arrangements and planned a great trip within my budget. When the coronavirus epidemic hit, she kept me updated and quickly rescheduled a trip to another location. However, when it became clear that it was going to be a worldwide event, Lauren worked tirelessly to get as much money back from the trip as possible. She went above and beyond my expectations during the entire process. It would have been very easy for her to have disappeared or given basic service after we booked with her, but she did the exact opposite. There is no way I could have done this on my own and will use her for my future travel plans!

We’ve used Lauren’s travel services on several occasions - cruises, European travel, etc. She has always been extremely dedicated in making sure our trips have been nothing short of perfection. She takes all the work and the fuss out of planning a trip. She even helps after the trip is over - for example, when we got back from a cruise I realized I left a few personal items in our stateroom. Lauren took the time to make several calls to Royal Caribbean to get my stuff back. Also, if you aren’t sure of where you want to go, Lauren knows all the best places. I just tell her my budget and if I want a family friendly resort or romantic couples getaway and she quickly replies back with excellent choices that are always on point. She even takes the time to find the best flights that have shorter travel times or zero layovers.
You won’t be disappointed with Lauren. She can save you money, and she has a great reputation with many of the resorts and can get you upgrades and other perk

Lauren Youngblood was fabulous to work with in planning our 5 year anniversary trip. We got her name from a friend and she didn't disappoint. Lauren listened to our needs and wants for a trip and came up with an amazing place to visit...a bucket list destination! Who would have thought this year would have turned out so crazy? Lauren helped ease my anxiety and concerns while traveling during a pandemic. She was always available and accessible with any of our questions. Lauren stayed calm and relaxed (even with one of my meltdowns) and presented plan B, C, etc. if our original plan were to fall through. Our experience with Lauren was awesome! My husband and I decided to go on a last minute, kid free trip out of the country over thanksgiving. With our time frame, I wasn’t sure if it was possible. Thankfully, we found Lauren online and she immediately started working to fulfill our travel fever. She worked though a busy Halloween and ball game filled weekend and had our whole trip paid for and set in stone by Monday morning! Lauren planned our trip perfectly and it was effortless for us. She had a surprised birthday cake delivered to our room by a nice concierge at our hotel. My name was on the heart-shaped cake and they even allowed me to blow out a candle. It was so sweet and made a memory I will never forget. Lauren never told us and made it a surprise. Lauren is a Rock Star with the patience of Job! She was always available and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question although I'm pretty sure there were several. I'm a terrible decision maker and she never made me feel rushed or pressured and we weren't working with a great timeline. One of my favorite traits is that she is very intuitive and was able to take things I said and make suggestions that were absolutely right up my alley. Another positive is that she is very detail oriented, down to transport from stations to hotels to events, etc., which has greatly reduced my stress level! We haven't actually gone on our trip yet, but I am so excited for the things Lauren has planned. Stay tuned. More to come when we return. :-)

I was introduced to Lauren through our neighbor who had planned several fun vacations with her. I had never used a travel agent before and wanted some help planning our honeymoon. Lauren is so personable and professional and I truly feel that she is not trying to "sell" you into a location, she gives a genuine opinion in her recommendations. I tend to be indecisive and Lauren helps me to make a choice that I feel comfortable with-- she is very patient! During our honeymoon planning, we decided to switch our destination last minute due to COVID restrictions and she was so quick to address our needs and got us rebooked at a different resort in a few hours. This was our second trip we booked through Lauren after having a great experience on our first trip. Lauren recommended resorts that met both of our differing requests to where we both were very pleased with our experience. Great Weekend Getaway in Florida Keys with Family

I am super happy with our most recent booking with Lauren. She has been our agent for almost 10 years and the only agent that we use and delivers a perfect experience every time. We are a family of 5, with 3 under 11 years old, so we need a resort that covers a wide range of interests and needs. For this trip, Lauren picked Isla Bella Beach Resort on Marathon Island, 2 hour car ride from Miami airport and nearly brand new accommodations.
Resort was the perfect size, with every room facing the ocean for sunrise. Main pool and private pools which are nearly brand new.
One issue that all hotels and resorts are trying to address is restart and building up their staffs in the post-covid world. Wait times in the local restaurants were a little long as they are short on staff or new hires that don't know the menu or offerings. Hotel Staff was still in training but they did work to accommodate and getting better.
We will go back!

Last Minute Travel

Lauren is extremely attentive to exactly what you are looking for in terms of travel, resorts and activities. She has answers to any questions you may have . She is also extremely prompt in getting information to you and extremely knowledgeable on locations and resorts. About a month before my husband and I were to travel to a location in the US we changed our minds and contacted Lauren. We specifically wanted an adult-only resort on a beautiful beach, with an all-inclusive option. She told us about LeBlanc Spa & Resort in Cancun and booked it for us. It was the most beautiful resort with the most attentive service and the most relaxing trip we had ever taken. We loved it so much that we had her book it again for the following year. We changed our minds about a location again this year and Lauren took the time to give us options and book us elsewhere without any problem.

Lauren was fantastic in planning this trip for us. We knew where we wanted to be but knew nothing about where to stay. She sent us a list of places she recommended with pricing and guided us on where we should go and wow are we glad we listened to her recommendations. The resort we stayed at was a 5 star experience and getting there was a breeze thanks to Lauren. She set up everything for us from drivers and easy access through customs to a beautiful dinner the first night so we didn’t have to worry on day one, all the way to a dinner at another resort we were considering. Our resort was everything we could’ve hoped for and more in terms of a romantic getaway full of relaxation and TLC. The excursions. The spa. The staff. Everything was top tier! Lauren is great. She planned a special 25 year anniversary trip to a resort and location that I would have never of thought of. It was spectacular. Recently planned and managed all of the details for a week golf trip to Sea Island, GA. Everything was perfect.

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our vacation to Cabo San Lucus. Lauren's recommendation was spot on and even better than what I expected. I loved the all-inclusive package, and the accommodations were beautiful. Do you really need a travel agent? The answer is without a doubt yes! My family and I do not travel very often and wanted to plan a really nice trip. We decided on Hawaii and knew we would need some help planning. Lauren really took the time to listen to our wishes and was mindful of our budget as well. We planned what seemed to be an amazing trip a year in advance. Just as our trip was approaching, Covid-19 happened. Lauren has advocated for us every step of the way and we are so thankful that we not only had a great trip planned, we got the help we needed when things began to close due to the pandemic. If you are searching for an agent that listens to your wishes, is mindful of your budget, is responsive when you have questions and will fight for you when unplanned things happen, then you should definitely reach out to Lauren.

I've worked with Lauren multiple times and every trip is spectacular! This time we took the kids to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for four days. Lauren organized our hotel, tickets, and even gave us tips to make our experience perfect. We stayed on-site, got access to the parks early, and made memories for years to come. I love working with Lauren and can't recommend her enough!
