As an 18-year-old high school grad, I made my first trip to Europe and knew instantly that I'd found my passion. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the entire experience - right down to the airplane food.
My first full-time job was aboard the steamship Mississippi Queen where I rose to the rank of chief purser before moving onto a position with an airline and then a tour company before becoming a travel agent.
In 1998, with a "special needs" newborn, I made the move to being a home-based agent - long before it was fashionable to do so. In the years since, my little one-woman operation has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm proud to say that I now have some of the best agents in the industry working with me.
Focusing on Disney Destinations was a natural first step for me. I made my first trip to Walt Disney World in 1972 and have been going ever since - sometimes five or six times a year! I've come to enjoy Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland, Aulani, and (especially) Adventures By Disney as well.
It can be difficult for someone less familiar to navigate through all the options and know for certain that they have everything they need, nothing that they don't, and that they aren't overpaying - regardless of budget. These are areas in which I excel. I love working with clients to create the perfect Disney vacation. (And yes, I know the Universal parks just as well!)
Of course, after living for five years on a cruise vessel, it probably comes as no surprise to anyone that I'm also a bit of a cruise-aholic. I take every opportunity I can to cruise, and try to experience as many different lines and ships as possible so that I can make that perfect match between client, ship, and itinerary.
Our associations with Travel Leaders and Internova give me the opportunity to offer the same great prices and perks seen from online sellers and even the cruise lines themselves - sometimes better - while providing significantly better and more customized customer service. (My favorite ship? Call me and ask!)
As a travel professional, I've been given many incredible opportunities. For better or worse, I've developed a taste for "5-star" products. Need a fully-staffed, 10-bedroom house in Hawaii or the perfect, posh villa in Tuscany? No problem. Private jet? Private island? Private yacht? Gotcha covered. I've got a network of amazing tour guides, suppliers with "boots on the ground" in nearly every country, and contacts at the best international experience providers in the world, too.
I also have a number of very recognizable clients with some special needs - like security, private Wi-Fi networks, and ABI airport services. I understand the unique requirements high-profile individuals and their travel party have, and find the challenge to be very exciting.
It's such a joy to be able to create exquisite, one-of-a-kind holidays. If you didn't win the lottery this week and have a tighter budget, though, worry not. Let's see how much luxury we can put together on whatever budget you have. You might be surprised!
I started by saying that a great travel professional books what they love. I focus on Luxury Travel, Cruises, and Disney Destinations because those are the things I know and love most of all. But after more than 30 years in the industry and with nearly two dozen fellow "travel elves" at my side, there's a pretty good chance we can provide exactly what you're looking for. If not, I'll do my best to set you up with someone in my network of stellar professionals who can.

- I hold an MBA, as well as a BS in Computer Information Systems - but I started off as a theater major!
- We own a vacation home on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii.
- When I'm not creating magical vacations, I'm probably playing the piano.
- My next major cruise destination? The Baltic. Can't wait!
- I'm a cancer survivor! A portion of our Pink Ribbon Cruises Program income is donated to organizations that help women currently in treatment for breast cancer.
- I could live on pizza, mac n' cheese, shrimp, and cupcakes... with a nice Malbec from time to time. Oh, and chocolate, of course!

A Pedestal On High

We have used Beth exclusively for over 30 cruise vacations in the past 15 years.
We have done it for one reason: She finds what we want, at the price we want (or better); throwing in important perks we didn't even think about (reserving a cabin that's not next to an elevator or over an engine or near an all night lounge), and a whole lot more. She has always made our concerns her successful challenges.
She does it all, not today, but yesterday.
You could almost say she treats us like family.

A Trip to Remember

Beth is easy to work with from the very early planning stages of a trip through the very end. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows all the best tips to save money. From getting us the best airfare deal and the best condo for our budget, to planning little details like where to buy groceries, which luau to attend, and how far ahead we should make destination reservations, Beth never failed to guide us in the right direction. I would use her for any trip that is outside of our normal yearly local beach vacation. This was our fourth time using her travel agent services, and I am sure we will do so in the future.

I have been a client of Beth's for 10 years. I read a review on a Disney Blog site 10 years ago who recommended her, so I decided to give her a try to book our family on the first Disney cruise ship through the Panama Canal. Now, 10 years later she is my go to travel agent. Beth has book me, my family, and my friends on fantastic Disney vacations and Princess cruises. I have already booked a cruise this October for my son, my husband and I to sail Canada and New England to see fall colors. In April 2016 she has us booked on a transatlantic cruise to Northern Europe. Beth is a great person and travel agent. I will always recommend her to friends and family.

Beth has been our Disney specialist for many years. Tell her what you are looking for and she takes care of everything. If a better deal comes along, she jumps right on it. We had reservations for the end of August with the dining plan, when Disney announced the free dining, she got that for us, saving us $$$$.
Beth is always available and can answer any questions. I would and have, recommended her to family and friends, She is Simply the Best!

A much needed break in difficult times

The last few months have been exceptionally stressful and we needed a break, but my wife is considered at risk for COVID so we weren't sure we could find something that would work. We chose Travel Elf based on posted recommendations but did not expect that the agency owner would handle our needs personally, but she did - and we were blown away by attention to detail. From private ground transfers and flights to a private villa it was all perfect and the always masked villa staff took care of our every need so we didn't need to leave our space at all. We felt safer than when we check the mail at our condo. Very happy we took the trip and that we found Elf Travel.

Beth was recommended to me by a friend who works with multiple travel agents in her career-- a huge compliment in and of itself to Beth! She made the process a breeze!
I was looking for recommendations, had no real destination or specifics in mind. I gave Beth very vague guidelines of a budget and time frame, both pretty tight. She asked just a few questions, and quickly gave us several options to choose from. We chose 6 days in Cabo, and WOW.
The transportation and accommodations were flawless. So easy and fabulous prices! I was very impressed with how far our budget got us. And it was SO EASY. Beth took care of all the details, gave us all the info, answered all my questions, made recommendations when I asked for them, and was available at all times for any concerns we may have had (hardly necessary since everything went so smoothly).
She really made us feel like rock stars. Could not have asked for a better agent! Professional, yet very approachable, enthusiastic, and downright fun to interact with. This is THE way to go.

Just recently found Beth as our Travel Elf. We had run into many obstacles and were ready to throw in the towel in trying to do a cruise with immigration issues with one of our traveler's until we found Beth.. (This was for my daughter's upcoming graduation present.) Beth researched and expended many hours to reassure us that we would not have an issue in the ports visiting, which we did not. Prior to Beth NO ONE would commit to this particular situation. We had given up hope until Beth came along. We just got back this past Saturday after visiting St. Thomas, Tortola and Nassau with the best accommodations. We had a penthouse suite with so many perks that I will not travel any other way in the future. Beth educated us on the many, many benefits of doing it this way. Already to book the next one, of course with Beth!!!!!!!!!

Beth Foss has been an exceptional travel agent for our family. We are traveling from Arizona to Orlando, Florida for a week in Disney World and Universal Studios. Beth has been both helpful and patient. She promptly answers all our concerns and has supplied us with numerous tips and strategies to make our holiday a magical and exciting adventure for 6 adults and four children from ages 5 through 11. Not only is Beth extremely competent, but also her personality is so charming that we consider her a friend as well as a travel agent.

Beth Foss has been a very helpful travel agent to me. I have used her to book many trips for me over the past 5 plus years! Some have been as simple as a hotel reservation to booking a semi-complicated NASA Shuttle Launch trip in 2011 that changed at least 5 times! I usually have a good idea as to where I want to stay when it comes to hotel reservations and I look to Beth for some deciding factors and I have not been disappointed in her guidance at all! Beth has always been available to answer questions even while I am on my trip. I appreciate her advice, knowledge and helpful information! Her customer service is excellent and makes sure everything is right with reservations.

Beth Foss has been our Disneyworld Travel Agent for years. If she doesn't have an answer to a question (which she almost always does) she will find out the answer and let me know. She is THE Disney Expert. Beth has given us lots of tips and strategies to make our vacations worry free. She will even find the best car rental rates (better than I can find myself.) Although we have never met in person, her personality is so charming that we consider her a friend as well as a travel agent. She is the best Travel Agent we have ever had. That's why we use her over and over again. She handles everything for us and takes the worry out of traveling. We refer all of our friends to her.

First time disney vacation

My sister has always had Beth as her travel consultant and this year, I finally decided to take a disney trip and actually stay on a disney property. Beth worked with us to make sure we were all together at the same lodging, working tirelessly when the originally was a problem. she found a great place and the food deal to boot. I cant wait to see how well she did for us where we actually get there. Stay tuned.

This is our 3rd cruise that Beth has coordinated and I could not imagine using anyone else. She is bright, asks the right questions, is upbeat and optimistic and always gets us what we want. We have our 3rd Disney Cruise in August, from Dover England to Barcelona. Beth has answered every question immediately whether it is tour related, Disney policies, attire, or locale.Beth has been able to secure us the most coveted berths on past cruises and has adjusted our requests as our needs have expanded over the years. We thought we didn't need a travel agent!

My wife and I are avid cruisers and have always booked direct with the cruise lines - believing we were getting the best pricing by doing so. We also thought we had enough experience to not have need for a travel agent. When we couldn't get the cabin we wanted for a certain Mediterranean cruise, a friend gave me Beth's card and highly recommended her. Not expecting much, we emailed her. She called about a half hour later - and about 20 minutes after that, she had us booked into a cabin several categories higher, for a lower price than the one we'd been looking at, and with free gratuities and a shore excursion on top of it. (That offer wasn't available through the cruise line directly.) A few weeks later, Beth called to let us know that she'd moved us to a suite for the same price. She'd personally cruised on that ship and was able to help us select where to dine. She also hooked us up with a shore excursion company that offered small group tours we couldn't get through the ship. She answered all our questions, provided detailed information on each port, and even clued us in on a world heritage site in Malta that we wouldn't have seen if she hadn't told us that advance reservations were mandatory because only 60 people per day were allowed in. Now we're the ones passing out her business cards to friends.

We had a blast!
A quick note to thank you again for doing such a great job with our family reunion cruise. Visiting Europe was a dream come true for so many of us, and you made this intimidating undertaking so easy. Better still, the guides you got for us up with showed us things that we'd never have seen otherwise (or even thought to look for). The hotel in Rome was the perfect base from which to tour, and those of us that stayed on after the cruise at the Tuscan villa will never forget how enchanting that experience was. A thousand times thank you. Can't wait to start planning the next adventure.
