Having traveled to over 20 countries, I realize that travel is in my blood. I have traveled to the Caribbean and Europe many times and love to immerse myself in its culture, art, food, wine and the people themselves. Listening to the many different languages is a delightful experience. My travels include the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Ireland, Hungary, Russia and Australia. While in Istanbul we stayed in the Ciragan Palace which overlooks the Bosphorus. One of my favorite experiences in Turkey was when we visited Ephesus and Cappadocia. Walking amidst such history was awe inspiring. Each of us is special and our travels allow us to have our own unique experiences. Most of the times these experiences show us how much all of us have in common. A trip to Jamaica can soothe the soul and a trip to Ireland will warm your heart. Having fun cooking in Budapest!

It is almost impossible to describe the beauty of Tuscany with its vineyards and perfect little towns perched on the sides of verdant hills. The people and the food make you know you will be back soon. Likewise in Prague and Budapest, the people enchant you. I take a cooking class in almost every place I visit and many of these are held in the chef’s home. You learn so much about the country by cooking with the local people.
