I have experience booking travel for my guest speakers and incoming graduate students, including flights, hotels, meals, and Ubers. I've been doing this for a few years, which is my opportunity to change. My niece graduated from the Navy base in Coronado, California. She showed me around San Diego, and I fell in love again. Even if I am not the person traveling, I cannot wait to hear about others'/hopefully clients' vacation plans. If there is sand and water, I want to send you there. My specialty is cruises, ports of interest, and anything with sand. I am familiar with many Florida (Universal preferred over Mickey-LOL). I want to expand to river cruises like MSC. I love Caribbean cruises, any ports along the way, Florida coast to coast, and getting folks to their destinations. 

I also love the transcontinental railway system and would love to assist with an Amtrak trip to California. I would also help create itineraries for international railways in Spain, France, and Italy.

After years of dedicated service as a secretary, I eagerly seek the next chapter in my career. I have honed my skills and discovered my passion for planning and organization. My experience includes arranging travel for guest speakers and incoming graduate students and handling everything from flights and hotel bookings, and restaurant reservations. This has been my focus for the past six years, during which I have truly followed my heart.

Interview days included working with about 40 faculty members and 10 visiting students, making event room reservations, ordering event food, and reserving airfare, hotel, and dinner for visiting persons. I love to organize, and this allowed me to use that strength. I organized an event five times a year.
