Sunsets like this are on the horizon!
Sunsets like this are on the horizon!

I have spent my life traveling through all its phases. In my early adult years, I have traveled to my favorite destinations with my friends, or sometimes by myself. I was always the one who did the travel planning, finding unique places to explore in each destination.

When I started to have a family, I planned trips to family friendly places such as Disney and Universal. I learned the nuances of traveling with children of all ages and how to plan a trip that was fun for all generations.  We traveled to all the various Disney locations including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland Paris. As my kids got older, they were able to explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and Marvel at Universal Studios Theme Park. Now that my kids are adults, they continue to explore these destinations and enjoy what both Disney and Universal have to offer.

I have a love of Irish culture and traveled to Ireland both independently and with friends. Over the years, my love of travel extended to many European destinations. I had to travel independently for my job, so I always made a point of carving out some time to explore and learn about new cultures. I have sailed through the Gothenburg Archipelago in Sweden and attended the Oberammergau Passion Play in Germany. I have gone dog-sledding on a glacier in Alaska and walked the canals of Venice. I love to experience destinations as the locals while still learning about the history of an area. I have traveled by planes, helicopters, trains, automobiles, buses, ocean cruise ships and river boats to explore the world.         My love of travel and my attention to detail make me a great choice to help you plan your vacation. I know first-hand how all-encompassing vacation planning can be. My goal is to listen to what you are looking for in your perfect vacation and make it a reality. I have always thoroughly researched my destinations to learn what would be a special experience for my family, and I would love to do that for yours as well. One example was when I was planning a vacation in London with my adult children. We have always been big Mary Poppins fans and I found a tour guide in London who plans very specialized theme tours. Imagine our surprise when “Mary Poppins” took us on a tour of London and sang “Feed the Birds” on the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Special activities such as this can make a great trip truly magical!

Most recently I have learned the considerations of traveling with a loved one who has disabilities, particularly mobility issues. I have learned what questions to ask when it comes to accessibility, particularly when traveling outside of the United States. There are so many things to consider with plane travel, cruising, and land tours and I have experience researching what to expect so you do not have any surprises.

I would welcome the opportunity to work with you to design your perfect vacation.  Whether it is vacations to Disney or Universal, ocean and river cruises, or tours of cities and countries, let me be the one to take the stress out of vacation planning so from the time of booking you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your trip!
