About 23 years ago, I experienced a big change in my life that led me to reevaluate a lot of things. I realized I was looking for something that I could do in my career that would mean something to people. I started working with a travel agency, learned all about travel, and in 2013, I opened my own agency. I have never looked back and I can't see myself doing anything else! 

You’d think I was born next to a beach, because I love any time spent on the ocean. I especially adore the beautiful waters of the Caribbean and Mexico. The food, the people, and everything about these areas appeals to me, and I love helping people plan trips to these gorgeous destinations. Whether it’s a honeymoon, a family vacation, or any special occasion trip, I can help set your trip up for success. Being home-based, I am always available to my clients when they need assistance, and my goal is to always provide the best personal service I can.  

A few years ago, I worked on a destination wedding for about 40 people in Antigua. During the process, the clients asked me to join the wedding group and I said yes. I didn’t know these people except for booking the wedding, but my husband and I decided to go and learn how Sandals did a destination wedding from start to finish. We ended up enjoying the family so much that I have helped them with many more trips over the years. I learned a lot, but I also gained many new friends in the process. My goal for every client interaction is to build lifelong relationships as strong as this one. 

To best serve my clients, I am constantly striving to increase my knowledge and expertise. I try to attend many types of classes so learn as much as possible. I also travel several times a year on vacation, and to research destinations and resorts. I work closely with Sandals where I am a Preferred Specialist, and I also work with Vacation Express and Pleasant Holidays. I have been to several countries in Europe, cruised to Alaska, and enjoyed many other wonderful vacations. It is hard to know something if you don't have the firsthand experience, so I try to travel to the destinations my clients are interested in as often as I can.  

One of the challenges I help clients with the most is flight changes. Several years ago, I had clients miss their flight for an American Queen cruise. I got them on a different flight into a nearby city, but unfortunately, their luggage went to their original destination. I immediately got them a car, got them to the other airport to pick up their luggage, and got them to the ship by the time it was scheduled to leave. I had the client on one phone and the ship captain on the other. The captain met them on the approach, and got them on the boat in time. We were worried they were not going to make it, but since we acted quickly, they were able to enjoy their trip!  

While travel is my passion, family is my life. I have twin grandsons that keep me pretty busy, and I love spending time with them when I’m not traveling or helping my clients plan amazing trips.

My love affair with Sandals began over 20 years ago. My Husband and I were on a cruise and decided to do a day pass to Sandals Dunn's river in Ocho Rios. From the moment I walked onto that resort I knew this is what I wanted to  experience.  Mr Grant, the GM at that time, took me into his office and taught me so much about the brand and what they had to offer the clients. 

All of these years later, I still love  Sandals. 

I have had the pleasure of  visiting almost all of the Sandals and Beaches resorts and have made wonderful friends in the organization, both on property and off.
