Grand Escapes Travel was started with the goal of helping travelers plan their perfect vacation - wherever that may be.
I've been in the travel industry since 2009, and I take pride in making sure clients' needs are met and their vacations are wonderful experiences each and every time. Strong attention to detail has helped me to become successful planning dream honeymoons, destination weddings and more.
Specializing in all things romance, I assist clients with destination weddings, honeymoons, anniversary trips and vow renewals. In addition, I love putting together customized itineraries for Ireland and other European countries as well.
I have a passion for beautiful beaches and have been to many all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean as well as traveled to some European countries. Using first-hand experience, I'm able to assist clients in selecting the ideal destination.

Monica did an amazing job helping my wife and I plan an amazing honeymoon in St. Lucia. Monica took the time to understand what we were envisioning as the perfect getaway and delivered to us multiple options. Monica was PHENOMENAL. Not only did she help me decide where I want to go, she also gave suggestions based off of places she has traveled. She took care over everything for my vacation. And when flights got delayed and pushed back, she adjusted our trip with not problem. What impressed me the most was how she booked my excursions and transportation. Additionally, she provided very specific travel documents. I don’t know how she does it, but man she is GOOD. I had no worries with this travel experience. She was readily available for the entire trip in case anything went wrong.

As always, Monica exceeded our expectations! She took care of every single detail and our trip was perfect. If you ever have doubts about using a travel agent, and Monica in particular, DO IT! We watched people scramble to get the proper forms and transportation while we were calm and collected with everything we needed planned and in place. Our trip was a perfect birthday surprise and Monica played a huge role in making it fabulous.

She is timely, friendly, professional, and caring. She genuinely cares about her travelers and will go out of her way at any time to ensure a great trip for them.We had a flight get delayed that was going to cause us to miss our connecting flight. We contacted Monica and she had us a hotel reservation and make up flight booked within minutes while other passengers around us were frantically trying to figure out what to do.

Monica helped us plan not 1, but 2 honeymoons due to a postponement of our wedding in 2020. Both times she was super responsive and gave us many options based on what we were looking for. She always made herself available to answer questions. While on our trip she was also very helpful in getting certain things arranged so we didn't have to worry about them. So glad we used her as it made our trip so much smoother than if we would have tried to do it ourselves.

She was SO PATIENT while we were trying to figure out where we wanted to go. She sent us plenty of information about many different resorts and she had the first hand knowledge to be able to speak on these resorts. She had special tidbits of information that really helped to make our trip most enjoyable. I was able to call her from the resort to ask her opinion about an excursion. Monica was fantastic to work with. She was able to put us together several options to choose from, all of which fit our requests. My wife and I wanted to go to an all inclusive resort that included golf. We ended up choosing the Sandals Resort in Exumha, Bahamas. Everything was taken care of by Monica (flight schedule, room requests, transportation to the resort, ocean view, ect.). We could not be happier about our decision to contact Grand Escapes Travel. After planning every detail for the wedding, it was nice not having to plan for our honeymoon.

A close friend of ours recommended Monica to help us plan our trip to Greece. Words cannot express how fantastic it was to work with Monica! She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and covered every important detail of the short 7-day trip that we had scheduled. Since it was our first time visiting Europe, I had so many questions and Monica did not disappoint in always getting back to me with a prompt response. I am also a picky person who second guesses many travel decisions and yet Monica remained super patient with me every step of the way. She organized every detail of our trip to include transportation and transfers (which was my biggest concern). Everything was smooth from the time we arrived in Greece and then in between island hopping. I highly recommend you to have Monica help with your travel planning. You will not regret it!

Monica was so amazing to work with! She helped us find the perfect resort for our honeymoon and we loved it so much. My wife and I had the most amazing honeymoon and it was all thanks to Monica Hawk! With the time we gave her and the budget we had; I'm so impressed with what was able to be accomplished. What I liked most about Monica is that she took the time to know us and understand the type of trips we did in the past. When we first reached out to her we really just wanted an idea of what could be put together for Hawaii. But based on our experience and what we wanted to get out of the trip for our budget she highly recommended Greece. I will say that she nailed it! At first i was concerned with traveling to more than one location within greece that were hours apart by boat/plane/car. But I was so impressed with how seamless everything was! We really felt like we were always in good hands, even in a foreign country, and best of all Monica was always available whenever we reached out via phone/email which definitely made us feel more secure and in good hands. We know we will use her Again!

Perfect. More than I could ask for. She made the process seamless and has a very quick response rate. While on our trip, if there were any hick-ups we were able to get in touch with her immediately.
