I have been a travel specialist and memory-making expert since 1999. I not only love to travel, but I also love to help other get the most out of traveling.
Sharing my personal passion for travel, I have taken multi-generational cruises with my family. I've also taken multiple motor coach trips with school groups to Washington, DC and New York City.
Planning group travel is particularly fulfilling. I have participated in multiple FFA trips to state and national conventions. I have also organized and escorted veterans' trips to Washington DC.
I have taken cruises to a variety of destinations, including:
- 4 cruises to the Bahamas
- 4 cruises to the Western Caribbean
- A cruise to the Eastern Caribbean
- A cruise to Hawaii
Over the course of 4 trips to Hawaii, I've explored all 4 main islands. I have also visited to Acapulco and 29 states of the continental United States.
I have completed many travel courses and continue to attend trainings and seminars to keep my travel knowledge up-to-date.

Why I'm Qualified to Be Your Travel Professional!
I planned and escorted a veterans' trip to Washington DC over 6 day and 5 nights. I planned tours of our nation's capital, 2 military bases, and many memorials.
This trip went above and beyond any trip that I have ever planned. The veterans from WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and Gulf War eras, even veterans that were stationed in the DC area, were amazed by all that we were able to show them.

Doug Farst is a great vacation planner. I call him for simple ltitle trips to big trips! He always give me good advice and always offers a variety of options as far as cheaper/other airports, etc. I definitely use Doug for my trips.

After booking a trip to DC with C&R travel I find out I need Achilles surgery. I went anyway. Doug and his wife were very accommodating to my injury. I will say that ANYONE seeking a short vacation with people who really care should travel with Doug. They think of everything including making sure you have water on hot days. It was a non-stop trip which was packed with every sight seeing tour imaginable.

Doug listened to what I wanted for my daughters graduation cruise. He listed a variety of options and new deals offered by the cruise lines. In addition to booking the cruise for me, Doug got us air flight with special accommodations for my elderly mother. Doug has gone far beyond just being a travel agent. I feel he has become a friend.

Doug is very helpful and gives me the information I need whenever I call. Sorts out many deals and variations of trips, shares his personal experiences which I really like. He had has helped me with many cruises, bus trips, hotels in the past years, approximately since 2008. He is very prompt on getting back with you. Was able to answer all my questions when I first cruised as I was so unsure of it all and what to expect. It all went well. I hope to cruise more and will definitely go through Doug.

My wife and I planned our "dream" vacation to Hawaii for our 25th wedding anniversary. We did 4 days in Honolulu and a 7 day cruise to all the islands. Without the planning and advise from Doug it would have been a nightmare for two "non-world travelers" to plan. The savings he was able to find us also helped us afford many extra activities and memories for a lifetime. We have no doubt our next big trip we want to Ireland or Alaska will be planned through Doug.
