I'm an Arizona native with a lifelong passion for language, culture, and soft diplomacy. My first overseas trip was as a Student Ambassador to Sweden, Finland, and Russia. I fell in love with every aspect of new cultural discoveries, the ins and outs of travel, and making lifelong friendships with locals.
The first lesson in travel I was taught was that oftentimes, things will not go according to plan and how those interruptions are dealt with, can make or break a trip. That logic has served me well over the years in my personal travels and it serves my clients very well now in my profession.
I am resourceful, creative, and adept in my approach to travel planning, making flexibility a priority. I like to say that my greatest value as an Advisor is not in when everything goes right but when things go sideways and I get you back on track.
My specialties are over-the-top, private-guided, exclusive experiences and introducing clients to the lesser-known gems of the world. I love designing multi-generational family trips, honeymoons, and first-time soloist outings. While I haven't met a destination I don't like, my personal favorites are all of Scandinavia (especially Denmark!), France, Italy and Africa.
In 2022 I took the plunge and moved abroad to fully immerse in various cultures. I am currently in and falling in love with the Balkans!

Jessica is a true gem and a pleasure to work with for planning a trip. She made our entire experience worry free!! Very pleasant and very easy, She did all the hard work and was always very accessible and very pleasant. Jessica found this wonderful ranch in Colorado which turned out to be perfect for our family. There were three generations represented and everyone had a wonderful time. There was horseback riding, fly fishing, archery, laser gun shooting, a wagon ride, zip lining, river rafting--really something for everyone. We had a lovely cabin and walked to the main lodge for meals. We even took our dog, and he liked it too. My granddaughters enjoyed petting the calves and goats, and even chickens in the barn after our horseback rides. The food was good. The Wagyu beef at the Ranch House Restaurant was especially delicious.!!! Several of us had massages, which were wonderful. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Fresh mountain air, beautiful scenery, many activities, delicious food--it was a perfect family vacation for us!! Thank you Jessica!!

Yes, travel agents are still relevant and necessary in today's world. I was not a believer of this until I used the services of Ms. Jessica Avery. Jessica was a patient listener. She understood what my family wanted to do on our Maui vacation(during covid) and she suggested activities tailored to fit our needs while also keeping in mind social distancing and other covid precautions. She understood that an 8 Year old may not be able to do certain family oriented activities, even if the purveyor stated "family friendly" on their website. She took the time to find out the "nitty gritty details". Also, She had every activity, event planned for each day and created an itinerary for us. Wow! That was very helpful and time saving. In a world of fake reviews, outright fraud, and other travel pitfalls there is definitely a great need for the services provided by Jessica. I will definitely be using Ms. Avery's services again for my next vacation!

Jessica planned a wonderful trip to Alaska including conference, cruise, stay in Vancouver, and trip to see friends in Seattle. All was set until Covid concerns and airline cancellations caused me to cancel the trip. I was going to loose the money I paid for the cruise until Jessica stepped in. She was able to get Celebrity cruise line to transfer my payments onto another cruise going to Greenland and Iceland. All worked out extremely well. I would have lost thousands of dollars and missed out on a great Iceland cruise if it were not for Jessica. She get's five gold stars from me.
