Alaska...heaven on earth.

Never forgetting the country roads that take her home, Nicole Alt-Myers credits her strong faith in God, family, and community to growing up in the small town of Fort Ashby, West Virginia. Nicole learned early the value of hard work, dedication, and persistence.   She learned the importance of building relationships and valuing individuals for the beautiful creations they are.  In her home and community, she was taught and followed the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you would want to be treated.”   

After leaving West Virginia, Nicole has taken many roads to success, allowing her to share her dynamic, ardent, and strong character.  As a successful businesswoman, she held positions as Media Investment Analyst for NBC 25; Account Executive for Allegany Radio Corporation; and Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, Cumberland to name a few.  She currently is president and owner of Dream Vacations. A franchise specializing in world travel.  In service to her community, she was elected Councilwoman for the City of Cumberland, appointed to the Maryland Economic Development Corporation by Governor Hogan and held various positions for several nonprofits; most recently, Nicole was elected to the Board of United Way of Washington County.  She has been nominated and received many awards and achievements for her relentless work.  In 2012, Baltimore’s Daily Record identified her as “Top 50 Leading Woman Under the age of 40” in the state of Maryland; in 2013, she was awarded the honor of “Outstanding Young Professional” by the Western Maryland Junior Chamber of Commerce.  In addition, in 2018, Nicole was nominated for Baltimore’s Daily Record’s “Top 100 Women”.  

With such a successful career in business, Nicole identifies the path to her greatest accomplishments as her family and the service she has given to others.  Nicole resides in Clear Spring with her husband LeRoy.  She is the proud mother of three children, Grace-lynn, a senior at GVCS; son Hunter, US Marine Corps, daughter, Kaila and son-in-law, Michael, both US Veterans. Nicole was ecstatic to welcome her first grandchild, Beau in April, 2023
