Hello! My name is Kate Aughenbaugh and I am the owner of Forbidden Journey Travel, a small home-based agency in North Carolina. I book all types of travel for clients, but I specialize in Adventure travel, especially anything involving animals like safari, scuba, and horseback riding vacations. I also specialize in theme parks such as Universal Studios, Disney, and SeaWorld. I am passionate about these destinations and would love to help you and your family plan memorable vacations.

As a travel advisor, I will not only book travel for you but also help you plan out your vacation to get the most out of it. I will also share any tips and tricks I have because travel can be a little overwhelming and it is easy to miss out on things if you aren't aware of everything a destination has to offer. I will help reduce the burden on you so you can really enjoy your vacation.

I have personally travelled to the Orlando, Florida area many times, as the central Florida theme parks are my favorite vacation destination. I have also vacationed in Italy, Alaska, Mexico, the Florida Keys and Gulf Coast, a dude ranch in Wyoming, and California.

I believe life is too short and it is important to see and do things that excite you. Whether it be a "bucket list" trip or just something you've been wanting to do for a while but haven't taken the plunge yet. This great, big planet has so many amazing experiences to offer, and it is easy to lose sight of the importance of exploring new places and experiences with how busy we can get with everyday life.
