I have traveled extensively throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, Europe and SE Asia for the past 59 years. I've gone by boat, by plane, and by train.  I was a Kennedy Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines 1962-64 and that sparked my travel interest.  And, I keep going back to the Philippines and Asia. My explorations are fueled both by my love of history, my passion for learning about new cultures, my love of different foods and drink, and my love of music and dance.  My skills are also enhanced by my broad training in cultural anthropology both here in the U.S. and in the Philippines.

River cruising offers you an opportunity to see new parts of the world up close  without packing and unpacking every day.  I will help you get the best TOTAL cost and value for your trip.  Often that very LOW advertised price is just the beginning -- because it isn't your TOTAL cost for a trip, because of deceptive advertising.  The "low-cost" river cruise lines don't indicate that you have to pay tips, port charges, pay EXTRA for some restaurants, pay for liquor, the internet and tours.  They nickel and dime you, once you are on board.   In reality you often pay more for less.  I can save you money here - and you still get all of the perks promised.
