Since my very first journey to Africa in 1988, the continent has captured my heart and soul. It's not just the breathtaking landscapes or the rich tapestry of cultures; it's the deep connection I've formed with the people, the wildlife, and the profound history that makes this place truly special. Over the years, I've nurtured this passion and turned it into a lifelong pursuit.

A Journey Unveiled

My voyage into the world of tourism began around the year 2000 when I decided to share my love for Africa with the world. This journey has been defined by my unwavering commitment to showcasing the Africa I've come to know and adore. I'm not just interested in the typical tourist attractions; I'm driven by the desire to introduce travelers to the authentic, untold stories that lie beneath the surface.South Africa holds a special place in my heart, with its turbulent history and remarkable people.

The Power of Stories 

Through my work, I've had the privilege of collaborating with individuals like Christo Brand, who served as Nelson Mandela's prison warder and friend. His firsthand accounts of their journey from their first meeting in 1978 until Mandela's passing are awe-inspiring and provide a unique perspective on history.In Soweto, I've had the honor of working with Antoinette Sithole, whose brother Hector Pieterson became a symbol of the fight against apartheid. Through Antoinette, I've gained insights into the courage and resilience of those who stood up against injustice. It's a pleasure for me to introduce friends like Christo and Antoinette to guests visiting South Africa, enabling them to delve deeper into the country's history and culture.

Together with local partners like Niel Els, Honorable past president of Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and MasterChef Abigail Mbalo of 4 roomed eKasi culture we bring you that inside knowledge of the food and wine culture of South Africa. In 2019 Abigail's restaurant 4roomed eKasi was named by Travel&Leisure as on of the 30 best restaurants in the world. My adventures have led me to discover the hidden gems of the Western Cape. Charming small towns like Tulbagh, Riebeek Kastel, Montagu, and Mossel Bay have become my well-kept secrets. These places offer a taste of the true South Africa, far away from the usual tourist hotspots.
