When you hear “traveling is in my DNA” or “I have been traveling forever” it often feels like a cliche. But, when it comes to me, it’s not just another cliche.I have been traveling since I was a month old! My family is spread all over the US and spent many “vacations” visiting, and traveling all different ways- planes, trains, boats, buses and automobiles! My family found the most obscure sites the best- glass blowing, garnet mining, theme parks, potato chip factories, cave exploration, Macey’s Thanksgiving Parade, old coal mining sites, Musicals, Hall of Fames, sporting events, and so on. When I was old enough to give some input, my family would roll their eyes as I dug into my fascination with history and historical sites as we planned vacations and trips. My very first “solo trip” was at 13 as a student ambassador to Great Britain, and I fell in love with Ireland. In College I moved to Louisiana from Buffalo, NY. Shortly after moving back home, I became a Flight Attendant, and for 8 years I traveled all over the United States and Canada.
