I have been a travel consultant for more than 10 years now. Before launching into my dream job, I worked in a corporate environment that required extensive travel. It was getting to the point that co-workers were coming to me to help them arrange their travel because I had a knack for making things go smoothly.

I am committed to my career as professional travel consultant. That's why I set a goal early on to become a Certified Travel Consultant (CTA)—a goal that I'm proud to have attained. I will continue to work towards other professional designations that set the professionals apart from the amateurs.

I consider myself to be my client's personal travel concierge. I am with them via text, e-mail or by phone wherever they are in the world.

My personal travels have taken to several areas within Mexico, various destinations in the Caribbean, and as far away from home as Japan.

You can never replace personal experience, so I believe that an effective travel consultant needs to travel extensively. I pay close attention to aspects of travel such as how easy (or not easy) certain airports are when it comes to getting through customs. I take note of the best ground transportation companies and procedures.

Moving between various locations in an area, I time how long it takes in transit, whether it's from the airport to the hotel or from the hotel to some of the more popular sites and excursions. This way, I can create realistic, well-researched itineraries for you.

When aboard cruise ships or on various excursions and tours, I make mental notes of demographics. What is the average age of the cruise client on that ship? How many children are aboard? Was that activity more suited for an older or younger crowd?

I do all of this so I can pass my knowledge on to my clients. They can benefit from my personal experience and avoid any travel pitfalls they may enounter. My expertise guarantees you the best vacation experience possible.
