Ko'olina Lagoon ~ Oahu, Hawaii
I started working as a travel agent because I love the excitement and anticipation of traveling and want to share in that joy with clients! I am an avid planner and I love an itinerary (bonus points if it’s color coded!) I thought, why not combine two things I love and make a career out of it!
I love booking all-inclusive resorts for honeymooners and babymooners to help couples get the best bang for their buck. My husband and I went to one for our honeymoon and immediately fell in love. I love recommending all-inclusive resorts because you’ll know the entire cost of the trip upfront, can save accordingly and don’t have to worry about additional costs once you’re there. Knowing that you can eat, drink, adventure, and relax all in one place at an all-included cost is a big relief when you are saving and planning for a wedding or preparing for a baby! In addition to honeymoons and babymoons, I love helping plan exciting trips for bachelor/bachelorette parties and friend groups.
I also love booking trips to Hawaii since I was born there and still have family living there. I love being able to guide people to the best tourist attractions, but also fill them in on some of the local favorites too! I also love helping retirees and families explore new destinations and create long-lasting memories together.
When helping clients plan their dream vacations, I ensure every trip I plan is personalized to the clients’ wants and needs. I always strive to maintain great communication and remain easily accessible to my clients before, during, and after their trips. I always listen carefully, keep a client’s budget top of mind, and I pay very close attention to detail. Timeliness is so important to me, so you can trust that I will respect your time in addition to your needs and wishes for your trip. I create itineraries that are easy to understand and follow, and I really focus in on the little things that truly make or break the enjoyability of a vacation.
Continuing my research and education is very important to me so that I can ensure I’m always providing the highest level of service to my clients. I am a Sandals Certified Specialist and am working on many other certifications so that I can continue to build and strengthen my knowledge base.
A recent trip I planned was a multi-generational family vacation for my family to explore the island of Oahu. My husband, sister-in-law, and nephew had never been there before. Not only did we do many of the popular tourist attractions such as going on a submarine in Waikiki, visiting Pearl Harbor, and enjoying the lagoons of Ko’Olina, but we were also able to showcase some of the areas that tourists don’t venture to! It was fun to create an itinerary that had the best of both worlds.
I also recently planned a bachelorette trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, and unfortunately a storm came through and cancelled many of the group’s departing flights. I was able to cancel all the flights and Airbnb, get everyone’s money back, and rebook a new Airbnb in a drivable location the same day so the party didn’t have to cancel their plans for the weekend. They had an amazing time and appreciated my flexibility in changing plans!
When I’m not traveling, I love to spend time with my family, plan parties, and go to concerts! My husband and I love to take our son to the golf course and enjoy beautiful weather together as well.
