Family and Group Travel Advisor
Though this is my first year as an official travel agent, I started working in the travel industry (specifically hotels and resorts) 9 years ago. I have been planning trips for myself, my family, and my friends since 2010, when I planned my first group trip from Washington DC to my hometown in England.
I grew a love for travel while attending college in Virginia, where I received my degree in Tourism. Since then, I have lived in multiple places, including the Outer Banks in North Carolina, New York City, and the Florida Panhandle. Having resided in rural areas, cities, and the in-between, I understand what it requires to travel from each type of place. I have a unique perspective and understand that each trip is different, regardless of destination. My travel experiences have varied from family vacations to traveling with friends to traveling solo, so I have firsthand knowledge that can help you prepare for any type of trip.
I have enjoyed traveling in both North America and Europe and have been to 13 countries to date. So far, one of my favorite places has been Malaga, in the south of Spain, due to its beautiful weather, delicious food, and laid back atmosphere. As a military spouse and mother of 3 (who has traveled with 2 toddlers), I enjoy showing others that it is very possible to travel, no matter where you live or who you’re traveling with. My family and I are working on visiting all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums and exploring the cities they’re in. We are currently at 6 and counting!
I look forward to helping you take that solo trip on your bucket list, or showing you that it is possible to take a family vacation to any destination, and create long-lasting memories for all involved!
Trips I Love Planning
Thingvellir National Park in Iceland
I am a sucker for finding an event to attend and planning an entire trip around it. My personal experiences have seen Oktoberfest in Munich turn into a European tour that started with the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and ended on the sunny beaches of Spain. An MLB game in London brought a detour to the classical music haven of Vienna, Austria. St. Patrick's Day in Dublin started with a weekend trip to Paris and included a scenic train ride from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands.
While I love to create multi-city vacations I find it just as exciting to plan an immersive trip to a single destination like New York City, where there are endless options for everything from famous landmarks to foodie tours.
My Areas of Expertise
Best vacation ever!
We were trying to plan our first trip to Italy and didn't know where to start. She asked simple questions to figure out what we wanted and then helped us plan our itinerary accordingly.
We couldn't decide about hotels, but she was able to help us narrow down our choices until we got exactly what we wanted.
We hadn't even thought about taking a cooking class there until she suggested it, and we loved it! That class was so much fun and the meal we made was delicious. We were so glad we listened to her!
Jacqueline really seemed to understand what we needed and helped us create the best vacation we've ever had. We highly recommend her!!
Most epic girls trip to NoLa
The best thing you could do is book her as your agent! She’s the best!
