Do I need to say more about why I love Puerto Rico?! (I had you at ceviche, right? Obvi. ??)
Puerto Rico is one of my favorite places to create inspiring itineraries for clients to explore the island's history, culture, cuisine, and natural wonders. Let me tell you why!
From Viejo San Juan to El Yunque rainforest to beach time in Rincón, every single stop is electrifying, chock full of stuff to do, things to eat, beaches to swim, and people to meet! The historic charm of Viejo San Juan, from the impressive forts of Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal to the picturesque Calle de la Fortaleza (where it really is mandatory to stop in for a piña colada at Barrachina (which claims to be the birthplace of the Piña Colada!) and a walk down the iconic Paseo de la Princesa. The Govenor’s mansion. Incredible street art on Calle Cerra in Santurce that blew me away.
All of Puerto Rico’s rich history and vibrant culture on display.
And the food. Seriously, don’t get me started. Clara de huevo al vapor rellena de queso de cabra y pesto sobre prosciutto (steamed egg white stuffed with goat cheese and pesto on prosciutto) all (wait for it) on…a…waffle! (You read that right. Mind. Blown.) Get the seats outside. The aforementioned Grouper ceviche, Red Snapper (with crazy fried sweet potato strings!), chocolate brownie Baileys & dark chocolate ganache! Yes, I was totally that guy who posted food pics from my Christmas dinner at Oceano. (I dare you not to share your incredible meal!)
Stay a couple of nights in Dorado. With nothing but blue Caribbean water & beach for miles, Dorado is like the cool, laid-back cousin of San Juan. The vibe is chill beach days, sunshine, sipping on a coconut drink. I found a quiet spot to unwind and then hit up some cool spots for delicious local eats. It's basically a little slice of paradise where time slows down, and you're in vacation mode 24/7. A break from the hustle of the touristy parts of San Juan.
I love to drive along the coast on my way to Rincón. And on the way, stop at Playa Jobos, Isabela, (in my opinion) one of the prettiest beaches in the world! Palm trees and surfing!
Then, Rincón, which is ah-may-zing! This is where drinking those previously described La Piratas out of coconuts comes into play. On the beach, with a coconut drink, at Tres Palmas. It doesn’t get better than this!
Take a short drive up in the mountains to Red Flamboyan Guesthouse & Restaurant, where I had an amazing meal. A whole grilled fish (Red Snapper here) brought me back to how my mom cooked fresh fish from the market when we lived in Izmir, Turkey. Delicious & simple. – look it up – the drive up in the mountains.
There’s so much more to do and see (and eat!) in this magical place in the Caribbean.
But now you see it’s obvious that each place in Puerto Rico, from the bustling streets of San Juan to the tranquil beaches of Rincon, holds a special place in my heart. And when we plan your trip, I guarantee it will be just as magical to you.

Christopher’s recommendations really felt like insider tips. Because he lived in Madrid, I ended up doing things I probably would have missed out on. Loved shopping at El Rastro Flea Market (it’s huge!). And, Toledo was the perfect day excursion. After a few packed days in Barcelona, Christopher sent me to Cadeques, which was one of my favorite parts of the trip, and wasn't on my radar. The beach is beautiful and the food is out of this world. Had a great time touring Dali's house, too. Christopher knows Spain! I was worried about all the details but he was patient and knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions. I really appreciated how he incorporated my many interests into the trip. All in all a pretty stress-free experience. Highly recommend Christopher if you’re planning a trip to Spain!

Smooth sailing (literally!) from start to finish. The catamaran cruise in Santorini was a great recommendation and the highlight of the trip. We were nervous about the cooking lesson but it was so fun! We started in Athens and hit Crete and Santorini. It was a pretty packed agenda because we wanted to see so much but Christopher did a great job of balancing it so we had down time to explore on our own. Christopher helped my partner and I plan a visit to Paris for four nights as an "add-on" to a trip to Spain. Neither of us had been to Paris before. He recommended accommodations in a part of town (the Marais) that was centrally located to the sightseeing, museums, and food destinations that we wanted to do (and Christopher suggested). He was understood the limitation and benefits about the time of year we were visiting (August; Paris Plages! Limited services at some places) so our expectations aligned with reality when we arrived. Paris is the type of place that you can get easily sucked into tourist traps of bad food and throngs of people; Christopher helped us get off the beaten path and find dining and sightseeing gems less traveled by tourists. Working with Christopher was a dream. He was so on top of all of our accommodations and planning; it took all the anxiety out of traveling! We started in Rome where Christopher lined up tickets for a guided Vatican tour, The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and so much more. Then he set us up with a rental car which was such an easy process. We struck out north towards Sienna, where he lined up our stay at a gorgeous villa called Tenuta Larnianone, known for it's high end Chianti and olive oil. From there, we were easily able to hit Florence for The David and Il Duomo, Montepulciano, Greve, Pienza, and many more small hill towns. We wrapped up with a Venice leg, where Christopher landed us a killer hotel right on Piazza San Marco. He got us reservations at the cutest restaurant right on a canal. It was a magical way to end our time in Italy. We had the trip of a lifetime and will forever be thankful for Christopher's expertise and passion for providing such amazing traveling services.

Excellent Italian Adventure!

Awesome experience with Christopher! He’s so responsive and knowledgeable. He saved us time and money on our multi-city trip to Italy. It can be very cumbersome to plan and execute a two-week trip for 6 adults, but Christopher made it seamless. We flew into Rome, drove a rental car to Siena and toured the Tuscan countryside and then drove to Venice, where we spent 3 days before flying home. Christopher was so fun and helpful to work with! I won’t plan any future trips without him.
