I think everyone has something different in mind when they think of their honeymoon. Some couples would like an intimate experience where they can enjoy each others company and savor the flavors of the area they are visiting at a slow pace with beautiful surroundings. Others may prefer to explore the area they are visiting with a mix of cultural activities, adrenaline rushes and relaxation for their first adventure together.
I love to help my clients turn their dream trips into reality, whatever that may be! I enjoy creating the journeys to meet your desires. If you are thinking something more tropical and unique, I might suggest Hawaii or Fiji where you can experience the warmth of the Polynesian Culture. Hawaii provides night life, shopping and adventure to those who seek it and a slower paced, relaxing experience for those who don't. With multiple islands available to explore or combine, the possibilities are endless! If you want to travel a little further, I would recommend Fiji. The Fijian people are so incredibly friendly, there are beautiful beaches and amazing snorkel opportunities. It is the soft coral capital of the world and the snorkeling there is amazing.
If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing experience in an over-the-water bungalow, they were invented in Tahiti, so I suggest heading that way! Maybe you would like to be spoiled in a beach bure with an outdoor shower. Wonderfully romantic options. The Tahitian people are so warm and proud of their heritage, they truly welcome you to experience their islands and culture. The resorts are amazing and the views are spectacular. You cannot go wrong with a Tahitian honeymoon.
If exploring down under sounds intriguing, we could create a honeymoon or romantic getaway to multiple locations throughout Australia. Beautiful beaches, unique wildlife, wonderful cultural experiences and the Australian cuisine and wines await you both!

What A Great Experience!!

From the first contact with Rachel through the planning and scheduling Rachel provided excellent service. She always kept in contact and answered any and all of my many questions. My husband and I had not traveled by air lately and never outside of the US so I had a lot of questions. Along with answering my questions Rachel also provided some extra information that helped make the trip easier and a great experience. Our flight to Cancun and back was flawless and everything went very well. In Cancun the hotel was so beautiful and provided a great experience for both my husband and I. We were there for our son's wedding and the wedding was also great. We could not have asked for a better trip and I am already ready to go back. We look forward to dealing with Rachel in the future because we already have some other places we want to visit as well as, I am sure now, going back to Cancun.

Rachel has always been great to work with. She is well versed with areas to travel to, advising us when the best time to travel to a destination is. She answers our many, many questions quickly and advises as to what tour companies to take to get the greatest value and best experience. She has selected well as to which airlines to take, the best time to fly for the most convenient flight experience, and any upgrades available for our flights. Rachel recently set up another great looking tour for us for this fall to Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. We are excited and ready to go!

Outstanding Service

Rachel went above and beyond in the service department, making several out of office hours phone calls to fix a hotel reservation issue which was not her fault. Since our cell service was spotty it was very helpful to have someone on the other side working to fix our issues. I've exclusively used self service online travel booking sites before, and never really understood why using an agent made sense. Now I really do see the value and I will be calling Rachel again for my next trip.

Rachel lined up a terrific vacation for two at the Hard Rock Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. She found a great price for a top-of-the-line room at the 5-star resort, provided excellent customer service in the days leading up to the trip, and followed up to ensure our trip was everything we had hoped it would be.We especially appreciated being able to rely on Rachel's expertise in knowing exactly what to expect as we got to the Cancun airport, went through Customs, then found our all-inclusive transportation to the hotel. We were able to simply follow her advice and not worry about a thing.
I would definitely recommend Rachel to anybody looking to have a "just right" vacation planned and made simple - she was great!

Wedding in Bora Bora

Exceptional service from Rachel

She was terrific. I called when it was almost closing time on Saturday, although when I called i did not know they closed at 2 p.m. on Saturdays. I was looking for a flight from MSP to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Although I had found what I wanted, times departing and arriving etc. etc but I was nervous continuing on my own because of dealing with an airline I was not familiar with. We worked together, it even took her awhile to get it all in order, it didn't make sense to stop. I felt bad keeping her after closing, but she was so patient. Although we won't travel until later this summer, I have already booked a Caravan Tour and did not want to wait any longer to do the air, since there are not a lot of options. She did a GREAT JOB!! Very special service!! THANK YOU for helping out a senior citizen.

A Second Time

An unforgettable Irish adventure!

Rachel is my go-to for all vacations! What I really enjoy about her is that I tell her what kind of travel experience I want to have and she comes up with various ideas for me. I take one trip each year just for myself so I can go where I want, not have to be on anyone else's schedule and meet new people. Last year she booked a trip to Tahiti for me and that went so well that now I won't use anyone else. Just got back from 10 days in Ireland and it was an incredible trip. Great Disney cruise experience

Unforgettable adventures

Rachel was enormous help planning a trip to New Zealand and Australia. We told her what we were interested in and she planned the perfect trip. But we later started planning a trip to Norway with a side trip for a wedding in Scotland, and it was just too complicated. So we turned the whole crazy thing (10 different flights, rental car, cruise, three train trips) over to Rachel and she was able to sort it all out and plan a fantastic, seamless trip. She was a lifesaver and left us with two unforgettable adventures.

The most amazing trip ever!

Have worked with Rachel now with two different trips. The most recent quite an involved trip, eight flights, 32 days. So many questions along the way planning and booking and Rachel was so knowledgeable and so patient with all of our questions, which were MANY. She was always responsive quickly via email or phone all and even sent a few things via regular mail. We had a question during our trip with concern of getting out of a regional airport to another two flights to meet the second part of our trip. She talked with us and then even texted us the next morning to check to see if all was going as planned. WOW! Rachel treated us like family. I gave her name to my sister and she and her husband have planned an upcoming big trip through Rachel and have been so pleased with her assistance on all. Will definitely use Rachel again and pass her name on to anyone we know looking for a super travel agent. You will not be disappointed.

After getting to know us she put together an itinerary for us that included everything we would need to know from travel by rail to hotels. The best part of her itinerary is that it was provided by app and could be downloaded for use offline so you never have to worry about not knowing what is happening on any given day of your trip. We have book several trips with Afton and just got home from a "bucket list" trip to Alaska. I love working with Rachel because she takes the time to find out what our real priorities are, and what we need. She knows we are foodies, and like good wine, so she found us several good options for each trip that were specific to our interests. I know I can count on her if I get in a jam while traveling, she stays on top of her trips, and destinations and watches for things that might impact our journey. She stays in touch and I know I can reach out to her while traveling in case I need anything. She is a much more seasoned traveler than I, so she is a great source for advice. We have booked all our major events with her (honeymoon, bucket list trips, etc.) and will always do so. She is also so helpful if you need travel insurance and make sure I know why and how it is necessary. I love work with her.

Our Fabulous Italian Trip!

A few years ago, we worked with Rachel to plan a tour of England, and were EXTREMELY happy with the travels she arranged for us! So, when we learned that our daughter was getting married in Sicily this month, we contacted Rachel once again to help us plan a pre-wedding trip to Rome, Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii. Once again, Rachel did not disappoint! The hotels she booked for us were lovely and the tours and activities she arranged for us were spectacular! I especially enjoyed the guided tour of historic sites in Rome and the private cooking class she arranged for us with Anna Maria in Sorrento! Safest emergency we've ever had

Rachel worked with us for over a year to plan a bucket list trip to Tahiti. She answered every call, e-mail, and text, and put together a flawless trip. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency on out third night there, and spent most of it in the ER at the hospital in Papeete. Between the drs, the nurses (I'm prejudiced, an RN myself(, the hotel staff, the American consul, and especially Rachel, I was stabilized and put on a flight home that night. I don't know who tended to what detail, but I know Rachel was a vital part of the recipe. She continues to advocate for us navigating the labyrinth of travel insurance. Thank you so much Rachel, and rest assured we'll be calling you when we're ready to go back :0)

I believe it has been about four years that i have used Rachel for my travel needs. We have done Alaska ,Mexico, European river cruise and have a medditeran cruise booked. Our first Ireland trip

As my wife and I are novices at OUS traveling, finding Rachel as a travel consultant was the best thing that happened. She was very knowledgeable and professional with helping up find the right tour options based on the country we wanted to see. We wanted a no stress end to end trip and she was able to provide us with all the pertinent information necessary to make that decision. The tour and plane bookings were done promptly and all the information packets we needed were delivered ahead of time for our trip. What I really appreciated was Rachel's prompt responses whenever I had basic travel questions prior to leaving the US. She even recommended that we arrive a day ahead of time to acclimate to our destination, an option that I will always ask for in the future. Three people made our trip a success and one to remember, Rachel, our tour guide, and our tour bus driver. My wife and I intend to use Rachel and that tour company for our next tour.

She brought to my attention details the average customer would miss and not be prepared for, example was the park hopper ticket needed to ride the hogwarts express at universal. Cruising over the Christmas Holidays

I had the pleasure of working with Rachel for our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean over the Christmas and New Years Holiday. Originally we were working with another agent who left the travel industry. The original agent booked the initial cruise, then Rachel took over our account. They both did a phenomenal job to ensure that the transition was seamless from our perspective. A week before the final payment was due, she contacted us which is nice. It allowed us to make the payment and ensure that it was processed in plenty of time before our trip. She helped us coordinate transfers from the ship to the airport. She also offered to help make flight arrangements but we didn't avail our selves to her offer.
Rachel was helpful in ensuring that we had the proper paperwork prior to our cruise and answered any questions we had.
She would touch base with us on a regular basis in case we had questions or asked if we needed anything.
I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again

Excellently Planned Trips

She did an excellent job in setting up our trip to Florida this year and in 2014 she also was excellent in her setting up of our trip to Austria. Both times everything went really well and, as a result, we had a great time in both locations. The departure and arrival times were perfect, the hotel accommodations she selected were excellent, the proximity of the hotels to the important sights and airports were just right and the rental cars was just what we asked for.

Great Experience

I have worked with Rachel on scheduling two trips, one was a Bahamas cruise and the newest one was a trip to Disneyworld with my kids. Both trips went off without a hitch and the process was seamless.
