I'm a travel advisor who specializes in creating unforgettable, curated travel experiences in Europe and beyond. I've been in business since 2019, and I absolutely love what I do.
My passion for travel began when I was young, and I've been fortunate enough to visit some of the most incredible destinations around the world, including Turkey, South Africa and much of the United States. However, it was my travels throughout Europe that truly captured my imagination. Germany, in particular, holds a special place in my heart - I love everything from its vibrant cities to its quaint villages, its rich history to its delicious cuisine.
As a travel advisor, my goal is to provide my clients with bucket-list opportunities that they'll never forget. Melissa at Travel Bug Adventures is A-MA-ZING! She anticipated everything and answered questions we didn't even know to ask! She made suggestions for stops and activities that are now lifetime memories for me and my family. We had complicated scheduling with 4 people to deal with - and Melissa took it all in stride. She scheduled us at the best hotels and had wonderful drivers/guides for us at each stop. The entire trip went off without a hiccup. The last night the hotel had mistakenly booked us for 2 rooms instead of 1. I texted Melissa and it was taken care of. Just like that. We had a wonderful, stress-free, completely planned/done-for-us vacation in Italy thanks for Melissa - and we wouldn't have changed a thing. She facilitated the booking process, addressed all our questions, helped us navigate trip insurance and even provided valuable insight regarding traveling with small children. What a great trip to Antigua

Melissa knocked it out of the park for us. She used our 'ideal trip' guidelines to lay out a number of destination options across The Caribbean and Central America and we could not be happier than our choice of The Verandah on Antigua. When we experienced an air travel schedule issue early on in our trip (which also impacted our resort schedule), she provided expert guidance to help resolve the issues to our complete satisfaction. Our stay at the resort was EVERYTHING we were looking for and more. From the grounds to the pools to the beaches to the staff to the beverage and food options, all were high quality and high value. The two excursions she booked for us (Island safari, catamaran cruise) were well-executed and most enjoyable. We also booked two more excursions through their 'adventures' desk and had a great time at both. We fully intend on going back and having Melissa organize it for us.

We have used Melissa King-Polsinelli for two different travel situations. The first was on a over the top golf and scotch trip to Scotland. The back and forth resulted in a fantastic trip. She included everything that was important and a few items we didn’t know were important. Our next trip gave her little time, yet she managed to stay on budget and included all that we wanted to see in Amsterdam.

Melissa was fabulous to work with! She was flexible and willing to go back and forth multiple times with us to achieve the best itinerary possible. Melissa provided suggestions based on her research but was also open to our ideas. She offered options at various price points to accommodate the budget and was great with communication. The tours and guides she arranged were great! The digital itineraries and booking software made that part of the process simple too. Melissa truly wanted to make sure we were happy with all aspects of our trip!

Melissa is the first travel agent I've ever worked with, and absolutely recommend working with her! As a younger millennial, no one in our generation knows about the magic of travel agents, but Melissa completely changed my way of thinking! I contacted her in January about booking a March trip to Europe, and she worked diligently to help us solidify our vision. She made many draft itineraries for us and was extremely open to feedback about what we wanted to see and which city we wanted to visit first. She helped us create a trip centered around biking, food, walking tours, public transportation, museums, and the outdoors, which was perfect for us! Everything from booking excellent accommodations (ask her about the Bilderberg Garden Hotel if you're ever in Amsterdam, it was amazing!) to picking the perfect flights to helping us navigate hotel transfers was thought of in great detail.
