Eating a giant Stroopwafel in Gouda, Netherlands
Travel has always been an integral part of my life. Growing up, my parents planned several trips each year to ensure we experienced the wonderful world around us. When living in the States, we would visit beaches, National Parks, and important historical places across the country.
During the 7 years I lived in Japan, my family and I would spend our weekends and holidays visiting different cities and nearby countries. During my time in Asia, I was able to explore places like Hong Kong, Korea, and Thailand.
Europe is one of my favorite places to visit. I have been to almost all of Western Europe (I just need to visit 3 more countries to get them all!). Some of my favorite things to do in Europe are exploring cathedrals, castles and castle ruins. I have spent many hours climbing stairs in turrets, imagining what a castle once looked like and what it would have been like to live there.
My travel adventures with my husband have taken me to 35 countries and 4 continents so far. Experiencing unique cultures has given me a deep appreciation for the world we all share. I enjoy seeing how different one country is from another and how their culture defines them more than a border ever could.
As I began to travel more as an adult, I discovered that planning travel was just as exciting for me as it was to travel. For me, there is excitement and rejuvenation that comes when planning a trip. I became a luxury travel agent because I want to share my love of the rich history, the architecture and lifestyle found throughout the world.
I believe that as travelers, we are as unique as the places we visit. Just as no two countries are the same, neither are we as travelers. I always take the time to get to know my clients, their areas of interest and what gets them excited about traveling. Only then I can curate a highly personalized experience that creates lifelong memories for my clients.
