Destination Wedding Group Specialist

I grew up in Alaska and my vacations as a child and teenager were focused on road trips between Alaska and much of the "Lower 48", National Parks and the western provinces of Canada.  I began my career as a travel consultant 20 years ago and have worked in both corporate and leisure travel before opening my agency in 2001.  My personal travels include Europe (especially Portugal, Spain, France, England, Scotland and Ireland), Hawaii, New Zealand, Egypt, Mexico, the Caribbean (especially Jamaica, the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Antigua, Turks and Caicos and Grenada), Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruises.  

Over the years the way we travel has changed tremendously and I feel the travel industry and being a travel consultant is now more exciting than ever.  The wealth of information that is available is almost overwhelming and to be able to edit that down for a client and really focus in on what is the best fit/experience for them is something I enjoy doing.  I love helping clients create special vacation memories that they talk about for years to come. 

The types of trips I plan range from romance travel (destination weddings, elopements, honeymoons, anniversaries and babymoons), corporate and affinity groups, family vacations and custom itineraries especially in Alaska, the US and Europe.  I am the mom of two wonderful, active young children and I understand how important a well planned vacation is for everyone, especially mom and dad. I married my husband in Negril, Jamaica and I love working with destination weddings of all sizes from elopements to large wedding groups.  I currently am a destination wedding specialist for several Caribbean and Mexico all-inclusive resort companies including Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Palace Resorts, Secrets Resorts, Dreams Resorts, Now Resorts, Karisma Resorts (Azul Beach and El Dorado), Hard Rock Resorts in Mexico and Punta Cana, and Hotel Unico 20'87'.  I am also a member of DWHSA (Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist Association).
