Dominican Trip

We contacted Carol to help us plan a trip to the Dominican. After looking at trying to book a trip by ourselves we knew that would be risky. Carol had wonderful knowledge of places to stay at. She booked us a great place and had everything outlined in our travel documents. We had flight issues but by the time we landed in Punta Cana everything was taken care of for us. This was a great trip thanks to Carol!

Carol was very knowledgeable about many things, she was not pushy at all when we came to her with the idea of possibility going on vacation. She responded to emails very timely, was easy to get in contact with, gave us just enough options for the price and time we wanted to spend on our vacation,helped us with the plus and negatives of some of our options so it could help us pick a place right for what was important to us for a trip, once our trip was planned she even wrote out a letter and in person meet with us to walk us though on step for step for what to expect! For being my first tropical vacation Carol did a wonderful job helping me feel more at ease with the whole process of taking a vacation!! I can not say enough good things about this lady!!! We will definitely use her in the future!

Carol helped me plan a trip for my fiance and I to Costa Rica in February 2023. We started planning in September 2022 and she helped me book flights, 2 hotels, a rental car, and guided me through travel insurance. She was easy to work with, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful when when our flight was cancelled last minute. She helped us look for new flights and contact our Costa Rican hotel and the rental car company to let them know we wouldn't be arriving when we planned. It really put us at ease to have Carol helping us through the entire process. Our hotels were beautiful and unique, I don't think I would have found them on my own. Disappointing start and finish of a good trip.

We actually looked up the places we wanted to go to ourselves, she just had to set it up for us. To start, she booked us in a park-n-fly motel in Mnpls that only had regular sized beds (would have been much more suitable for queen to king size), we found out that for our return flight shuttle to the motel it stopped at 10 pm and our flight didn't arrive until after midnight. Would have thought she would known that but when asking her about it we were told to find an uber back to the motel which we had never done before, there were 8 in our group with luggage. We then requested her to get us a # for a shuttle that could transfer everyone which she did give us but when we got back at 12:30 am we were told there was a 2-hour wait so we had to find our own way back to the motel at 12:30 am or later, we were not happy. Felt she could have better follow through since she is the travel agent and paid to complete all services for our trip. Felt she didn't really care how it turned out.

I had family death during this time and my mind was not in the right place -- It still does not help for you. Everything from start to finish was great!! We worked with Jeff to book our honeymoon and he made sure everything we needed for a perfect trip was ready for us. I liked getting routed back from Atlanta in American Airlines to Terminal 3 the same at Air Choice One. I can get used to going from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 with practice, but going back with AA to the baggage claim and right upstairs was Air Choice.

Most everything turned out as planned. Carol did a great job of giving us trip options and making all the arrangements!! The resort was excellent. Outstanding service!!The only difference in the plans was that I had to have a caddie when I played golf which I wasn't aware of, but the experience of having a caddie was excellent. Only difference was a required $20 tip.
I would suggest that the flight confirmation number be included with the travel documents. I had to look these up from the email confirmation.

We told her what we like and she did the rest!! We got a great deal! The Best Western Bloomington was great with accommodating us a day early even, due to a blizzard. Love the shuttle and being so close to the mall and Airport in Minneapolis. The Riu Santa Fe in Cabo was great, we would go back. You could relax or party whatever you prefer. Lots of pools and chairs. Amazing food and good drinks! Love that our check in bag price and transportation to and from resort was included. Awesome time!! She had been there and she was right, it was great!!! Thanks Carol!!!

Our resort was great, unfortunately our booking was not.From the beginning, Carol was very rude and condescending. All of us with the exception of one couple booked within 24 hours of each other and each person was given a different price. Every email that was sent with our breakdown of our trip cost was different each time. When we would call Carol to ask/question things, she was very unpleasant, always acting as if we were bothering her and would be argumentative if you questioned anything. She would cut you off you off during a conversation just to make her point. In one of our conversations, I told her that I was very disappointed with her service and would not book with her again, she then became angry with me telling me I didn't understand what she was saying. We never once felt she appreciated our business.

We have booked our travel adventures and some business trips thru Carol for many years. And Carol once again arranged our trip this time with FunJet Vacations out of Minneapolis to Playa del Carmen in January for a March 2016 vacation to the RIU Palace Riveria Maya, in Mexico. This is a beautiful resort with great service, excellent food, and connected with four additional RIU resort which you can also access and use . We have stayed at RIU Palace resorts before in many of our other Caribbean destinations, so the decision was easy for us. She also arranged our Stay and Fly Hotel. Had a great trip. Weather was great, only one day of rain showers on the beach. A good time and we made some great friends from Canada. THANKS Carol for all your assistance. My experience was awesome! Our trip was perfect, I had asked for a smaller resort than we have stayed in the past, but still large enough to entertain my daughters n I. The one she suggested was perfect, we loved it. She had tips for us on traveling to the Dominican that made everything go very smooth. Carol was extremely helpful in both trips (Jamaica and Hawaiian Islands) we used her services for. She provided local knowledge and great advice on travel. She helped us with air, facilities, excursions and car rental. The facilities she picked out were excellent for our family. When scheduling our excursions she made sure they were reputable. The surfing was outstanding. Everyone in our family was able to surf. Highly recommend the semi-private lessons. The zip line was exciting and an excellent experience! Carol helped my husband and I plan a wedding trip for us in Ocho Rios Jamaica for March 2016. I didn't want have to do much with the planning of the ceremony and I didn't have to, between Carol and the resort they took care of everything, all we had to do was show up. She also picked a great resort that was kid friendly so that our 12 year old son wouldn't be bored. There was 7 of us total that went and we all had an amazing time and hope to someday return to Jamaica. We plan to use Carol for our future travels!

Once again Carol assisted us in arranging a perfect family vacation in Cabo San Lucas. We have been using her services for years and she always does a great job answering questions and offering options to make our travel more enjoyable. This time, she helped us take 10 family members to a great resort, got upgrades for 2 who were honeymooning and us who were celebrating my husband's 60th, and did last minute flight adjustments for 2 others. She really does believe in great customer service. If you want her to do all the arrangements, she will. If you found a great deal and want her input, that's great also. She really goes the extra mile to make sure that your vacation is all it can be. She offers tips to make traveling easier and she responds quickly and professionally to all requests. She even helps with park and fly reservations. She also makes great recommendations for places her clients might enjoy. You can't go wrong trusting your precious vacation days with Carol.

We have used her once before so when we called to use her again(for the same exact trip) she didn't have our stuff on file. That was fine because I had it all from last time. Got everything lined up. We asked if our first bag was free and said yes, turns out we had to pay for all our bags. That was frustrating. But we got through it. We also requested a pool view at the resort and got a garden view(which didn't seem like a garden at all). Also wanted our rooms together and we didn't get that either. It turned out to be ok. But all and all we had a relaxing vacation with a few hiccups. Vacation went well otherwise. Would use her again because searching sites and comparing is a headache for me.

This was first time we ever went to an all inclusive resort and it was for a very special occasion (our daughter and son-in-law's destination wedding). Carol gave us detailed information regarding flights, when we arrived who to look for at airport for our ride, etc. The trip went smoothly and I credit her with giving us so much information - regarding entering/exiting Dominican Republic, going through customs. It was a wonderful vacation and I would recommend her to anyone planning a trip.

We had never lined up traveling by air and were unsure how to go about it all. We were going to Las Vegas for the first time and felt that some expertise in lining up the best way to fly and the best place to stay was important. Since we' d never flown before we thought some help and advise was important and Carol did a wonderful job! We had problems with our flight being cancelled to come back, called Carol and she took care of getting us on the next flight!
