I used to swear I would never get on a cruise ship. The open ocean is not my thing. However, my then-fiance convinced me to give it a shot and, to my surprise, I loved it. I always imagined I would be out in the ocean in a little boat, dealing with sharks and their friends. The reality is that cruising is like being in a resort - a resort that takes you to your destination! These days, I can't get enough. I've now cruised to Alaska, Mexico, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Mo'orea, and Hawaii. I'm also a Disney fanatic. Having worked for Disney corporate (ask me about my days programming DisneyWorld.com) and grown up in Florida, Disney has always been a part of my life. I've lived within an hour of the Walt Disney World Resort for 35 years of my life, and have been an annual pass holder for a good amount of that time. To say I know the parks is an understatement.
