I am a 25+ year teacher in the Wake County Public School System. I have loved being a classroom teacher, but am looking toward my "second act" which will begin when I retire after 30 years of service to the people of North Carolina. I decided to pursue a career as a travel advisor because I have always loved to travel. I lost my dad last year and have re-evaluated a lot of parts of my life; when I look at my happiest times, I remember the trips I've taken and the people I've met along the way. Family vacations in my younger years and as a parent myself, as well as road trips and adventures with friends are the things I hold onto when times get dark. I  rediscovered a love for Disney World and Universal in my role as a mom. My "teacher skills" translate well into this travel advising: I am organized, detail-oriented, inquisitive, an excellent multi-tasker, and very personable.  I have a daughter who is finishing high school and a retired racing greyhound who enjoys laying around the house. I am newly unmarried and am looking forward to my future adventures-- I'd like to help plan yours too!

Megan was wonderful. She listened to what we were looking for on a trip to Iceland. She found the perfect match to our needs. She followed through in a very timely manner with answers to any questions that came up. She eased our minds on any concerns we had. If she didn't have the immediate answer she found it out for us. She was very patient with this nervous traveller.

A trip we won’t soon forget!

Megan is personable, was attentive to our needs/wants, and helped us plan so much more to our trip than we could have done on our own. She’s extremely knowledgeable about Disney, and was very helpful in understanding all of the “new” features of Disney experiences (ie, Genie +, Lightning Lanes, and more). We will definitely have her help us plan another trip in the future…I’d highly recommend Megan to anyone needing a travel agent! She’s the BEST!

Great itinerary

Best family spring break!

Megan was super helpful in helping our family navigate our options for spring break that checked everyone’s boxes and fit in our budget. With two teens with us, we wanted something that we could add a little adventure as well as some relaxing time hanging as a family and not to mention great food. We were open to different destinations and considered all inclusive resorts at one point. We ended up planning a Norwegian Cruise that was amazing. Super easy and accomplished all our spring break desires and fun family memories.
