This year I celebrate my 25th anniversary in this amazing world of travel, and I’ve seen how travel can enhance and change lives. Family vacations, weddings and honeymoons, getaways with friends, graduation celebrations, bucket-list journeys, they’re all part of what I design for clients. I’ve helped guide couples toward their vision of their “destination” wedding, honeymoon or anniversary, and I’ve walked with grandparents as they plan the perfect vacation for their kids and grandkids. From the beginning of our trip, it went very smoothly. We had no trouble printing our boarding passes at the Mpls/St. Paul Airport. Clearing Customs & Immigration in Mexico went very quickly with minimal delay due to the large crowd. Our private shuttle was waiting for us and we were taken directly to the front door of the Riu Palace Mexico. Manual greeted us in English and the entire staff was friendly and courteous. We checked in immediately, but had a couple hours delay in getting into our rooms. The wrist band provided at check-in allowed us full access so we didn't waste much time indoors.
I would definitely recommend Michelle at Travel Leaders. She is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful throughout the entire booking and scheduling process. Definitely an PLUS for travel to Mexico.

We have done two types of vacations - Disney and a beach vacation, and she is so well versed on Disney that we enjoyed every minute without worrying about anything. Additionally, we just returned from a family beach vacation and it was equally well planned and we enjoyed it very much.

Michelle made planning our destination wedding, especially during covid, a lot less stressful than it could've been. She was very attentive, easy to work with, always happy to answer questions, and also saved us so much money that I didn't think was possible. Things were crazy during these times. I totally understand that. I few things were a little bumpy throughout the trip. For the most part things were great. The transportation was a little confusing and messy, I’m not sure where the confusion was but we got it all figured out. Overall good experience with the background noise of Covid. Also, a little on and off confusion with communication between emails and group members. It’s hard when there is not many people in the office either.

Travel Angel

We were on vacation in Jamaica when the Covid-19 started in the US. Michelle checked in with us a couple of times throughout our trip to make sure things were going okay. When we were advised that it was best for us to leave the island due to this illness we called Michelle and she diligently worked to set up all our arrangements back home. This was a stressful and disappointing time for us and she went above and beyond to get us safely back home the next day. Michelle checked in with us several times with our departure to make sure things were running as planned and as soon as our planned landed she sent a text message welcoming us back home. We can't thank her enough. This vacation didn't go the way we hoped but were so relieved that we had Michelle helping us.

Michelle is amazing. She answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. She listened to what we wanted out of our trip and made sure we got it. She made awesome recommendations to help make our trip extra special. She helped us stay within our budget. She also made sure we were fully prepared for where we nneerd to go and what we needed to do regarding transfers, airport security, etc. Our vacation was literally perfect and exactly what we imagined it to be. We didn't have to do a thing, Michelle took care of everything. It was extremely easy. Michelle was very organized and met all of our needs. Highly highly highly recommended!!!

We think Michelle is so great. She has helped us on many trips and has gone above and beyond helping us. When a flight was cancelled she even worked with us on the weekend to get us another flight. I always look online for low airfares and then call the travel agency to help plan and they always find us a better deal with including a car etc. Her recommendations on flights and airline seats etc. has always worked out well. I know that if I had any problems on my trip I can call Michelle and she would help me out.I would and have recommend Michelle to anyone planning any trip for business or pleasure.

Challenging yet Rewarding

Despite concerns over traveling, and having waited a couple years to finally do our trip, Michelle was always available to listen, find answers, calm our anxiety and just settle our nerves. Michelle kept us updated with emails and phone calls during the YEARS before our trip was to start to keep us updated on any changes that Princess was implementing. Michelle is professional in her job, yet she felt like a dear friend. When my husband & I tested positive for covid during our Alaska trip, Michelle got us on the next plane available. Quarantine & recovering at home was so less stressful. Michelle continues to work with us and the cruise line to process any available refund. AND we'll definitely be using Michelle's services again!

Fun Couples Get Away

We have planned many all inclusive trips, and are pretty knowledgeable about what our must have are, and what we didn't want. When working with Michelle we laid everything out and she found different options that met our needs. She was open and transparent with the pros and cons as well as prices and any thing we needed to do or should know. Traveling during Covid is tricky, but Michelle consistently informed us of changes expectations and how to's. One of the couples had never traveled outside of the US before and she worked with them one on one so that they felt comfortable. We had an amazing time and the planning was a breeze because of the effort Michelle put forth for us to have a great vacation.

Family fun in paradise

We started to bounce around a family trip to Hawaii. Working with Michelle on past trips, I contacted her about planning this trip. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls and provided a really nice variety of flight and resort packages on Waikiki Beach within a day. Once we picked our resort, she started to send emails with information about covid testing requirements, things to do, and informational websites. Because this was a trip for a family of five, we changed our minds a lot, but Michelle just rolled with it and continued to be very helpful and provide useful tips and information. The night before we left, she checked in again to make sure there were no questions. The trip went seamlessly. Michelle is a really great person to work with on planing trips!

Michelle, was fantastic, she gave me tons of great options and choices of where to go with my family and then once we choose our destination, she helped me figure out excursions and everything was taken care of for us. Michelle has helped us plan our vacations for the past years (not sure how many). There are ten of us in our group and we take turns picking our location, girls pick one year and then the guys. This year the guys were in charge and Michelle helped them with suggestions over the telephone. Bring this was our first trip to Mexico, we relied on Michelle more than we typically would when traveling. Michelle was very efficient in getting all of our reservations and flight details. The Allegro resort was very nice and we didn't have too many spring breakers. Sunday was a bit crowded with Mexican families, but after that it wasn't bad. We did find that the resort had a lot of activities for children, it seemed to be more for the family vacationers. The wind was a bit too much most of the week, causing our fishing trip to be a sea sick fishless one. All in all, I believe the new owners are doing a great job repairing, redoing the plants, and making us feel more than welcomed.

We started working with Michelle knowing we wanted to go to Riviera Maya. Michelle took it from there. She provided us with resort options at various price levels, sizes, and activities available. She answered many questions, re-looked at travel days to save money, and always stayed in communication. In fact, Michelle, you should not answer your emails on Sunday night! Once we finally decided on a resort, Michelle seamlessly pulled all the reservations together. She even re-ran flight options and changed them so we could get there sooner and cheaper!She recommended staying at a park-and -fly hotel, but of course I kept forgetting to make the reservations. Well, guess what, Michelle took care of that too. About a week before we left, she had us come in and she went through ALL the travel documents and explained EVERYTHING. The whole trip was fantastic with no glitches. When we returned, Michelle wanted to know about the trip. Working with Michelle was super easy and enjoyable.

Michelle helped to make a dream that my dad has had come true, in July 2017 he was able to go on a halibut/salmon fishing trip to Alaska, with 2 of his son-in-laws and 2 of his grandsons. We flew to Anchorage and then drove to Seward where we spent 5 days. My nephew caught a 180 lb. halibut and all of us came home with over 400 lbs. of halibut/salmon/cod/rock and misc. fish. Each of us was lucky enough to catch a halibut. Michelle was great to work with, we started planning the trip well over a year ago. She provided us with options and worked to ensure our trip was hassel free and affordable. Our lodging was comfortable and reasonable. The food was great. Michelle was proactive and always looking for ways to stretch our dollar. This was our second trip we have booked with Michelle and won't be the last. We are already planning our next trip. Michelle was very helpful in helping us narrow down resorts based on our specific requests. Michelle explained in detail some additional services that were available that we did not know of. We opted for travel insurance and Vip service at the airport. The Vip service saved us a 2 hour line for customs upon arriving to Jamaica. We were at our resort and eating lunch before our fellow plane passengers were even through the customs lines.
Michelle took all the worry out of planning our trips.

We could not have found a better travel agent to work with. Michelle did more then just book our vacation package and airline transport/hotel stay for our Walt Disney Trip. She provided us with tips and suggestions that helped to make our vacation amazing!!!! She was able to help us tailor our trip to fit our exact wants and wishes to help ensure a memorable vacation. Michelle listened to what we were looking for as far as a trip to Alaska! She gave us 3 different trips to look at then we were to pick one. Michelle then helped us with booking the trip and making sure we were going to get the train also in our tour.
