As an experienced travel planner, I have been able to create memories for clients that have traveled to many corners of the world.

Since 1984, I have taken groups from China to Alaska, and many destinations in between. I received my certified travel counselor (CTC) status in 1990, which was the same year I opened En Route Travel.

The travel industry has undergone many changes since then, but some things are still critical to a successful trip. Finding the cheapest trip is not nearly as important as getting the best value for your travel dollar.

Because I have made contacts in many of the places that people want to travel, I am able to personalize your experience when you are... en route!

Customer service is a priority and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line proved that to a group I had last March. We were stuck on board in the port of Galveston because of an oil spill. We were offered the option to stay on board or get off. Either way we would get a full refund, plus a discount on our next cruise. We stayed.

We were finally able to make one port, Cozumel, when the coast guard opened the port. I was determined that my group would come away with good memories in spite of an unfortunate change of plans.

In Cozumel, I arranged to take the group to Chankanaab Park. It was a perfect place to enjoy everything: the beach, snorkeling, a pool, swimming with dolphins, walks in the jungle with fascinating Mayan ruins, and botanical gardens.

Like Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, I wanted my clients return home with positive thoughts about their experience. That is only one example of my commitment to above and beyond customer service. 

Travel is not an exact science, and sometimes the unexpected can make for the best stories and memories that last a lifetime!
