Ten years ago you would have found me in a 9-5 job, unhappily working on my 15th year as a coat-check girl at an Indian casino in Southeastern CT.  While the income was fantastic, I felt I was made for something better- to serve a purpose.  After booking my own vacation with a full service travel agency, I had a terrible experience.  I don't think the agent had ever even been to Walt Disney World. He handed us a brochure and sent us on our merry way.  We spend most of the trip wasting time looking at park maps to find out where we should go and what we should do.  After that trip I started planning the next ones on my own and my husband jokingly said I should do it for a living. Little did he know that after seeing a for rent sign next to a children's hair salon, I  would quit my job of fifteen years and open up my own Disney Travel Agency called Get Your Ears On!

For the last ten years I have been planning Disney vacations for hundreds of families!   While I specialize in Disney Destinations, I also book many other destinations such as Universal Studios, Sea World, Sandals, Beaches, all-inclusive island resorts and all major cruise lines.

I have had the honor of attending numerous Disney Earmarked Conferences, which are by invite only to accredited agencies such as my first host agency when I first started and my current host agency, HMS Consulting.  I have sailed on the inaugural sailings of Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, been to Walt Disney World in Florida too many times to count, visited Disneyland in California, and experienced Adventures By Disney's itinerary to Peru.  I believe that visiting destinations first hand is imperative to sell the product. Since my niche is Disney Destinations, my knowledge of them is key to ensuring your family has a magical vacation with no hassles and no stress.  I know the ins and outs of dining, Fastpasses and Magic Bands.  I do this every day as my full time job, which I consider a dream in itself!  My mission is to make happy memories for every family that books with me.  My services are free to you, my price is exactly the same or less than what you can find yourself.  For all you planners out there, I do as little or as much as you want me to so you have the freedom to pick your own Fastpasses and dining if you wish!
