Family Adventure and Group Travel Advisor

Hi, I'm April and I live in Asheboro, NC. In addition to being a travel agent, I'm a former teacher, Girl Scout Leader, mom and military spouse. I have 16 years in education as a World Language Teacher and love to learn and teach about language and culture. I became a travel agent because of my love of travel and cultures. I'm always up for an adventurous getaway where we have fun and learn.  

As a scout leader and educator, I believe in making the world a better place. I hope to encourage my clients to travel in a responsible, sustainable and eco-friendly way, where the companies we choose for your travels prioritize the environment and benefit the local communities.

Of all my travels, my favorites are Costa Rica, where I spent my honeymoon, and Dominican Republic, where I volunteered 7 times serving local youth. A more domestic favorite is Orlando, FL, where my family and I enjoy the thrills and excitement of visiting Universal Orlando Resorts and Parks.

From the first time my family and I stepped foot into Seaworld Orlando several years ago I was hooked.  The same was true for Universal Orlando.  Don't get me wrong, I love Disney World and all of it's magic as well. 

For me, there is different type of excitement and adventure at Seaworld. Maybe it has to do with my love of the ocean and all it's wanders or the nostalgia of watching Sesame Street as a kid. As for the Universal Parks it is perhaps my love for the Transformers movies. I know for my family it is definitely the love of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  

I hope to share this excitement and adventure with you and your tribe.

Making Memories~2023 Summer Girl Scout Trip

April is a pleasant person to work with. She made sure that our Girl Scout Troop had plenty of options to choose from when deciding activities they wanted to do. The best part was having the days scheduled so we didn’t have to sit around and decide on what to do for the day, it made us able to get the most out of our time spent in the Outer Banks.
