Meeting crocs in Australia's Northern Territory

G'day! I'm Carrie, owner of Papaya Travel Co. I am an Australia and New Zealand Destination Specialist, Hawaii Expert, and Mexico Enthusiast!

From a little girl obsessed with airplanes, to landing my dream job as a flight attendant in my 20's, to now owning my own travel agency, this industry has always been my calling.

I realized something recently... I take AMAZING vacations! And that's because I'm great at planning vacations. I love diving into the planning process and learning about a destination, researching the must-see-must-do activities and scoping out the best accommodations and restaurants. I even find myself planning trips in my spare time, not knowing when or if I'll ever take them.

Of all the trips I've taken and cool places I've seen, Hawaii is one of my favorites.  I fell in love with the natural beauty, infectious Aloha Spirit and the laid back island vibe. Whether it's driving the Road to Hana on Maui, taking a helicopter over the Napali Coast of Kauai, watching lava flow into the Pacific on the Big Island or snorkeling with sea turtles in Hanauma Bay on Oahu, I want to help my clients experience the best Hawaii has to offer.

Aside from Hawaii, I also love planning trips to Australia.  I lived there when I was little and have visited multiple times. From the tropics of North Queensland to the Outback to the stunning cities, as the Aussie's would say, "She's a Beaut!". Add to that the unique wildlife and incredible food and wine, and it's impossible not to fall in love. I'm here to help you plan a memorable trip Down Under!
