I spent my early working career as a Professional Engineer at Bellsouth after graduating from Georgia Tech in 1973 with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. However, my interest in travel began much earlier. I became proficient in speaking French in high school and studied at the University of Dijon while at Tech.

I began working in the travel industry after graduating from Omni School of Travel in December 1988 and created Halcyon Cruises & Adventures in 1996.

I've always had a love of travel. From my first trip abroad, I realized what a wonderful, life-changing experience travel can be for those who embrace it. When asked about my favorite destination, the normal answer is the last place I've visited!

To be successful as a leading travel consultant in today's world, nothing beats personal experience. And my travels have taken me around the world.

When traveling to new and exotic destinations, you will find me visiting and exploring quaint inns, luxurious hotels, and wonderful restaurants so that I can assist clients in creating their dream trips.

First-hand knowledge about properties all over the world allows me to tailor the trips for clients to ensure they are always experiencing the most enriching aspects of travel—wherever they go!

I've sailed on over 35 luxury cruises throughout the world. I know the details that make each ship unique, and I enjoy assisting clients in choosing the ship that best suits their lifestyle. What better way to see the world than from the verandh of your cruise ship stateroom.

My personal love—adventure travel—has certainly led to unique experiences in the U.S. and abroad. To mention only a few memorable activities, I've done all of the following:

• Glacier walking in Alaska
• Scuba diving in Hawaii and the Caribbean
• Shark and ray feeding in Bora Bora
• Nordic walking in Diavolezza, Switzerland

I've also taken a day hike amid the vast archchaeological site on the island of Delos. When you reach the crest of the Sanctuary of Zeus and Athena, you get a superb view of the Cycladic islands around Delos
